He is arrested and imprisoned after Project Freelancer's collapse. After that, he tries to escape imprisonment by siding with the Space Pirates on Chorus, but when that too seems to be going south, he tries to abandon them, but instead his ship winds up being pulled down to Chorus where it crashes into the "Purge" temple. Likely killing him.
