**A tribute video to Roddy Piper was uploaded, remarkably similar to the tribute to previous WWE celebrity Captain Lou Albano.
**Archie's Weird Mysteries Episode 12 was dedicated to both David Bowie and Motörhead's Lemmy.

**On one of the Annotation Archive video of Donkey Kong Country Episode 28 has a tribute at the end for writer of the show Erika Strobel who died in March 2017

**Kidd Video Episode 3 had a very late dedication to Stan Lee

*The penultimate episodes of the Annotation Station on YouTube (a two-parter consisting of the second episode of The Nutshack) showcased a lot of the Annotated Series's most memorable moments, and of course featured the Surf Music.
