It's a loose [[Lighter and Softer|lighthearted]] adaption of one of [[Doug Ten Napel]]'s earlier works, a comic named ''[[Gear]]''. ''[[Catscratch]]'' was a [[Nickelodeon|Nicktoon]] made in 2005. Although the show had its decent ratings, [[Too Good to Last|It only lasted for a season]], but that season was stretched out over two years. It then got a short run on Nicktoons Network before being cancelled again. Since then, it's lain forgotten among the other castaway shows of Nickelodeon.
