Spooky Month/Nightmare Fuel

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

General

  • It's played for laughs but Frank is indicated to have kidnapped many children for ransom money. It's a miracle Skid and Pump haven't joined the victims.
  • Robert's sagging eyes and creepy smile can be eerie at first glance. However, this does lessen as he's revealed to the kindest member of the Hatzgang.

it's spooky month

  • Skid's first appearance has him creepily turning around to face the camera, though he turns out a Cheerful Child instead.
  • Lila is seen being attacked by Bob Velseb. However, he is made harmless by a piece of candy and is seen being taken by the police. Come 'Tender Treats' and their encounter is much more terrifying; the piece of candy and her reminding him it's Spooky Month only briefly stop him. Lila actually has to fight him for her life.
  • Skid goes tell his grandma it's Spooky Month, only for her to so old she's practically a corpse/zombie. It's fitting/a relief the next time we see her, she's in the ground with a tombstone.

The Stars

  • It's heavily implied Roy's uncle is molesting him. Once Roy points out the spooky mansion of the hill is where his uncle takes him, Ross and Robert understandably take a step back at that implication.
  • Him saying "what do you mean it's wrong?" gives the impression he was manipulated into thinking it was okay.
  • This is even more reinforced when he seems to try and force himself on Skid and Pump. Thankfully, Eyes tramples him when running outside to celebrate Spooky Month.

Unwanted Visitor

  • It seems like Moloch might be like Eyes and not be mad at the boys for keeping him in the attic. That turns out to not be the case. Once he possesses Dexter, he threatens to kill Skid and Pump. He probably would have done it if Pump hadn't dared him to do a Exorcist Head Spin.
  • Dexter has some weird need to kill things. He is way too eager to kill what he thinks is a rat.
