  • Too Good to Last: Bonus features on the DVD containing both movies suggest the Broadway version lasted so briefly because experimental shows released at the time, such as Rent, made it seem quaint.
  • Values Dissonance: Contrast the fact that only Melissa and Margy attend the judging of Melissa's pickles and mincemeat with the whole Frake clan attending the presentation of Blueboy.
  • Were Still Relevant Dammit: Presumably the reason for the racecars in the 1962 version.
