  • At a signing at a convention, a man walked up to him and said that after hearing Blum's characters on Digimon, his previously mute son (long story short, the child has Asperger's) finally started talking and saying he loved it. Blum and the man hugged and cried for a long time. The man returned the next day with his family, and they all hugged and cried.
