  • Complete Monster: Though Mr. James Wong at first seems like a Neighborhood Friendly Gangsters in a Mob War involving the Russian mafia, he proves to be even worse than the Russians and the Golden Kane combined, particularly when he has his own daughter murdered by Tequila's own partner.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Billie's murder, both for her father Mr. Wong, who ordered the killing, and Tequila's partner Jerry, who pulled the trigger.
  • Narm: Most of Tequila's lines thanks to Chow Yun-Fat's hilarious Mandarin accent.
  • Scrappy Level: The Penthouse.
