- Syberia II: when Oscar does what he was created for and sacrifices himself for his creator. That was especially heart-wrenching, because you had to start the transformation process and he wasn't happy about what he has to do.
- YMMV, but the ending of Syberia 2 may be very much this. Hans, an old, old man with the soul of a young child, finally achieving his dream of riding a mammoth... The scene is extremely dreamlike and ambiguous. One common interpretation is that it's actually symbolic of Hans' death and the mammoths are taking him to heaven... Not a single bit less tearjerking.
- Near the end of the first game (when you visit Aralbad for the second time), choosing the dialogue topic "Kate" while talking to Oscar gives you this:
Kate: You know something, Oscar? Despite all our mishaps and your grating personality, I think I'm going to miss you. |
