  • Complete Monster: Imported straight from Digimon Savers, the most evil and irredemable human of the entire franchise: Kurata! So far, he hasn't topped his twisted genecide desires from that show in Requiem, but it is only a matter of time before this digimon-allergic man demonstrates why he is so universally hated by all who know him.
  • Tear Jerker: The death of Guilmon in Book One. Others include Impmon not being able to give Jeri her partner back, Takato dying in Book Three, and even poor Oni misguided attempts to fix things.
  • Shipping: A surprising amount, considering it's not a romance fic. However, the couples don't take over the plot.
