Tara and John is a now-defunct comic strip by TV Troper Nate Spidgewood that debuted on June 19, 2009. It followed the adventures of a first grader named Tara Joy Sullivan who set out to a jungle to catch a talking snake, named him John, and brought him home. Hilarity Ensued afterward.
Characters include:
- Tara Joy Sullivan, an optimistic six year old.
- John, a talking cobra.
- David, Tara's dad.
- Olivia, Tara's mom.
- Abigail, Tara's older sister.
- Sherman, Tara's older brother.
- Grey, the Sullivan family's clumsy dog.
- Jim Rankin, Abigail's friend.
- Goldie Rankin, a six year old Alpha Bitch and Tara's nemesis.
- Arry, a Funny Animal armadillo from Texas.
It could at one time be found here, but as of May 2020 that URL directs to a blank page. The Wayback Machine has only one copy of the site archived, and it too displays a blank page.
