Teen Wolf (TV series)/Quotes

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Season 1

Wolf Moon [1.1]

Derek: You've been given something that most people would kill for. The bite is a gift.

Stiles: I've been scarlet-nerded by you!

Stiles: Hey Lydia! You look... like you're gonna ignore me.

Stiles: Everyone should have a dream! Even a pathetically unrealistic one.

Jackson: Where are you getting your juice?
Scott: My mom does all the grocery shopping.

'Harley: Can someone tell me how new-girl is here all of five minutes and she's already hanging out with Lydia's clique?
Stiles: Because she's hot. Beautiful people herd together.

Sheriff Stilinski: So, you listen to all of my phone calls?
Stiles: No... Well, not the boring ones.

Stiles: Two joggers found a body in the woods.
Scott: A dead body?
Stiles: No, a body of water. Yes, dumb ass, a dead body.

Second Chance at First Line [1.2]

Math Teacher: Mr.McCall, you're not even close to solving your problem.
Scott: Tell me about it...

Coach: My grandmother can move faster than that, and she’s dead. Do you think you can move faster than the lifeless corpse of my dead grandmother?

Sheriff Stilinski: So, you lied to me?
Stiles: ...That depends on how you define lying.
Sheriff Stilinski: Well, I define it as not telling the truth. How do you define it?
Stiles: Pff... reclining your body in a horizontal position.

Pack Mentality [1.3]

Allison: Think about something else.
Scott: Like what?
Allison: Like me... naked.

Stiles: So, you killed her?
Scott: I don't know. I just woke up. I was sweating like crazy, and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that before.
Stiles: Really? I have. It usually ends a little differently.

Scott: Maybe it was my blood on the door?
Stiles: Could have been animal blood. You know, maybe you caught a rabbit or something.
Scott: And did what?
Stiles: Ate it.
Scott: Raw?
Stiles: No, you stopped to bake it in a little werewolf oven.

Stiles: I don't think Danny likes me very much.
Scott: I ask Allison on a date and now we're hanging out?
Stiles: Am I not attractive to gay guys?
Scott: I made first line and the team captain wants to destroy me. And now, now I'm gonna be late for work.
Stiles: Wait, Scott! You didn't- Am I attractive to gay guys? You didn't answer my question.

Allison: Maybe you should stop pretending to suck just for his benefit.
Lydia: Trust me, I do plenty of sucking just for his benefit.

Lydia: Someone's daddy's little girl.
Allison: Sometimes, but not tonight.

Stiles: It's gotta be a pack thing. Like an initiation-- you do the kill together.
Scott: Because ripping someone's throat out is such a bonding experience?

Scott: Am I gonna hurt someone?
Derek: Yes.
Scott:Could I kill someone?
Derek: Yes.
Scott: Am I gonna kill someone?
Derek: Probably.

Scott: Do you wanna hang out, like us and them?
Allison: Yeah, I guess. Sounds fun.
Jackson: You know what else sounds fun? Stabbing myself in the face with this fork.

Stiles:(to Scott) Why's it starting to feel like you're Batman and I'm Robin? I don't wanna be Robin all the time!

Scott: You're okay?
Allison: Once my heart starts beating again, yeah.

Magic Bullet [1.4]

Chris: Hockey on grass is called field hockey.

Chris: (to Scott) You eat meat?

Scott: Why should I help you?
Derek: Because you need me.

Derek: Start the car, or I'm gonna rip your throat out. With my teeth.

Derek: It was a different kind of bullet.
Stiles: A silver bullet?
Derek: No, you idiot.

Stiles: If you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to God I'll have you de-balled.

Stiles: What am I supposed to do with him?
Scott: Take him somewhere. Anywhere.
Stiles: And, by the way, he's starting to smell.
Scott: Like... like what?
Stiles: Like death!

Derek: You faint at the sight of blood?
Stiles: No, but I might at the sight of a chopped off arm!

Scott: This house is like the frickin' Wal-Mart of guns.

The Tell [1.5]

Lydia: What the hell is a Stiles?

Kate: I don't know whether to kill it or lick it.

Mr. Harrison: Try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs. It's chemistry, not a coloring book.

Derek: You wanna do homework? Or you wanna not die?

Scott: We don't go out in the middle of the night murdering people, do we?

Stiles: If you think getting rid of contractions in all of your sentences makes your arguement any more legitimate, then you are wrong.

Mr. Stilinski: I'm carrying a lethal weapon. If I want the curly fries, I will have the curly fries.

Heart Monitor [1.6]

Stiles: Be a werewolf, not a teen wolf. Be a werewolf.

Scott: Hit him again, and then you'll see me get angry.

Scott: I love her.
Stiles: And that's beautiful. Moving on -

Coach Finstock: The reading of the Gettysburg Address.
Scott: What?
Coach Finstock: That's sarcasm. Are you familiar with the term sarcasm, McCall?
Scott:(Looking at Stiles) Very. (Stiles smirks proudly)

Allison: Haven't you ever learned there's no "I" in "team"?
Jackson: Yeah, but there is a "me."

Scott: It smells terrible in here anyway.
Stiles: Really? In a boys' locker room. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Scott: You buried your sister under a spiral. What does it mean?
Derek: You don't wanna know.

Derek: You want me to teach you, get rid of her.

Night School [1.7]

Stiles: Alright, first off - throwing Derek under the bus...nicely done.

Lydia: Is that him with the best explanation ever for why he's half a frickin' hour late?

Scott: What do we do?
Stiles: We get to my Jeep. We get out of here. You seriously think about quitting your job.

Scott: Thats not the worst part
Stiles: How in holy hell is that not the worst part?!
Scott: It wants me in its pack. I think first, I have to get rid of my old pack.
Stiles: What do you mean? What old pack?
Scott: Allison, Jackson, Lydia...you.

Lunatic [1.8]

Allison: I don't think it was Derek in the school.

Scott: Why don't you ask her?
Stiles: Well, to save myself utterly crushing humiliation. Thank you, Scott.

Stiles: Call me Biles or I'll kill you.

Scott: If I get out, I think I might kill someone.

Stiles: Yeah, it's called heartbreak. About two billion songs written about it.

Allison: Lydia, do you think I made the wrong decision?
Lydia: About that jacket with that dress? Absolutely.

Scott: I don't care about your breakups, Mom. I'm gonna get her back.

Scott: Give me the bottle of Jack.

Wolf's Bane [1.9]

Peter: I was gonna wait for dramatic flare, but when you look this good, why wait?

Jackson: Do you know what Argent means in French? It means silver!

Sheriff Stilinski: I'm very happy for you. And I'm really proud of you.
Stiles: Thanks. Me too, I'm happy and proud of myself.

Danny: [talking about Derek] Who is he again?
Stiles: Ahm... My cousin, … Miguel.

Derek: [holds up shirt] This no fit.

Stiles: You swing for a different team but you still play ball, don't ya Danny boy.
Danny: You're a horrible person.
Stiles: I know. It keeps me awake at night.

Lydia: Are you breaking up with me?
Jackson: Dumping, actually. I'm dumping you.

Jackson: In preparation of some big changes, I've decided to drop some of the dead weight in my life, and you're just about the deadest.

Allison: You beat me again.
Jackson: I have an unfair advantage. You see these cheekbones? Aerodynamically suited for speed in water.

Jackson: How you gonna feel Scott, when she's screaming my name?

Scott: Your mind's blank? You can't think of anything to say?
Stiles: Not under this kind of pressure.

Jackson: However it is you came to be what you are, you're gonna get it for me, too. You're gonna get it for me or, she's gonna find out about it, too.

Derek: By the way one more thing...
Stiles: Yeah.
[Derek slams Stiles head against the steering wheel]
Stiles: Oh, God. What the hell was...
Derek: You know what that was for. Go. Go!

Derek: [about Peter] Stiles, get out of there, right now! It's him. He's the alpha. Get out!

Co-Captain [1.10]

Peter: When I was in high school, we played basketball. Now, there's a real sport.

Formality [1.11]

Melissa McCall: Have you told her how you feel?
Scott: She knows.
Melissa: Listen, dumbass, I'm gonna let you in on a secret that most guys don't even have a clue about, all right? You ready?...Women love words.
Scott: Hmm?
Melissa: You need to tell her how you feel. Just say it. Say it again. Say it differently. Learn how to say it better. Learn how to sing it. You know, just write it in a poem and a letter attached to flowers. Carve it in a tree, in a sidewalk in wet cement, tattoo on your arm.

Allison: Why did you do that?
Scott: Because I love you.

Code Breaker [1.12]

Scott: She's not a werewolf.
Stiles: Then what the hell is she?

Derek: You want me to risk my life for your girlfriend? For your stupid little teenage crush that means nothing?

Kate: It's what they do, and they can't help it.
Allison: All of them?

Peter: His username is Allison? His password is also Allison?
Stiles: Still want him in your pack?

Peter: Do you know why wolves hunt in packs? It's because their favorite prey are too large to be brought down by one wolf alone.

Stiles: And you're a Mac guy. Does that go for all werewolves or is that just a personal preference?

Allison: I just saw my boyfriend turn into a werewolf.

Peter: Don't feel bad, if she lives she'll become a werewolf. She'll be incredibly powerful.
Stiles: Yeah, and once a month she'll go out of her freakin' mind and try to tear me apart.
Peter: Well, actually, considering she's a woman...twice a month.

Derek: I'm the alpha now.

Season 2

Omega [2.1]

Allison: No, dad! Dad! He saved our lives! Your life! You can't do this! Dad, let him go! Please let him go, and I'll do-- I'll do whatever you want! Okay? I swear. I won't- I won't see him again. I promise, never again, dad. Please, dad, please. Please! Please!
Chris Argent: Never again.

Sheriff Stilinski: You work for your father, Isaac?
Mr. Lahey: When he's not in school. Which is where he needs to be in 20 minutes.
Sheriff Stilinski: Yeah, I understand that. But I've got a missing teenage girl, and our K-9 unit led us here. She's not wearing any clothes, and if she's out here tonight, and the temperature really drops--
Isaac: --I'm sorry, I - I didn't see anything.
Mr. Lahey: Trust me, if he saw a naked girl outside a computer screen, he'd remember.
Sheriff Stilinski: How'd you get that black eye, Isaac?
Isaac: School.
Sheriff Stilinski: School fight?
Isaac: Nah, lacrosse.
Sheriff Stilinski: Lacrosse? You play for Beacon Hills?
Isaac: Yeah.
Sheriff Stilinski: My son plays for the team. Well, I mean, he- he's on the team. He doesn't typically play. Not yet, anyway. It's, uh-- Something wrong, Isaac?
Isaac: No. Oh, no, sorry. I was just remembering, I actually have a morning practice to get to.
Sheriff Stilinski: Just one more question. You guys get many grave robberies here?
Isaac: A few. Usually, they just take stuff like jewelry.
Sheriff Stilinski: What'd this one take?
Isaac: Her liver.

Scott: She ate the liver?
Stiles: No, I didn't say she ate it. I just said it was missing. And you know what? Even if she did, so what? It's the most nutritious part of the body.
Scott: I never ate anyone's liver.
Stiles: Yeah, right, 'cause when it comes to werewolves, you're a real model of self-control. Actually, wait—- hold on. You're the test case for this, so we should be going over what happened to you.
Scott: What do you mean?
Stiles: I mean like what was going through your mind when you were turning, you know? What were you drawn to?
Scott: Allison.
Stiles: Okay, nothing else? Seriously?
Scott: Nothing else mattered. But, no. That's good, though, right? 'Cause the night that Lydia was bitten, she was with you.
Stiles: Yeah, but she was looking for...Jackson.

Omega: Nice car.
Jackson: Here's a dollar. Go find another parking lot to die in. Security!

Coach: Let's go! I have an announcement. Gather 'round. Quicker! Danny, put a shirt on. Stilinski, that means you! Let's go, gather round. Listen up. Police are asking for help on a missing child advisory. It's a sick girl, roaming around, totally naked. Now, it's supposed to get below 40 degrees tonight. I don't know about you, but the last time it was that cold and I was running around naked... I lost a testicle to exposure. Now, I don't want the same thing happening to some innocent girl. So, police are organizing search parties for tonight. Sign up, find the missing girl, you get an automatic A in my class.

Jackson: If Lydia wants to take a naked hike in the woods, why should I care?
Scott: Because we have a pretty good idea that she might be... you know, turning.
Jackson: Turning?
Scott: Yeah. Turning.
Jackson: Into...?
Stiles: [sarcastically] A unicorn. What do you think, dumbass?
Jackson: Well, I think that if Lydia's turning, she's not the one that's gonna need help.
Scott: What do you mean?
Jackson: Oh, God, you've got it all backwards, McCall. When I was with Lydia, you should have seen the scratch marks she left on me. What do you think she's gonna do with a set of real claws?

Stiles: Hey, you know, maybe they're just here for the funeral? I mean - what if they're the non-hunting side of the family? There could be non-hunting Argents. It's possible, right?
Scott: I know what they are. They're reinforcements.

Scott: What are they doing?
Derek: Declaring war.

Chris Argent:We have a Code
Gerard: Not when they murder my daughter. No Code. Not anymore. From now on, these... things are just bodies waiting to be cut in half. Are you listening? Because I don't care if they're wounded and weak or seemingly harmless; begging for their life with the promise that they will never, ever hurt anyone. Or, some desperate, lost soul with no idea what they're getting into. We find them. We kill them. We kill them all.

Shape Shifted [2.2]

Isaac:Um, so far it's an "A" in French and a "B-" in econ.
Mr. Lahey:Oh. What about chemistry?
Isaac:I'm not sure. Uh, midterms are in a few days so it could go up.
Mr. Lahey:Well, what's it at now? The grade? Uh, yeah.
Isaac: Uh, I'm not sure.
Mr. Lahey: But you just said it could go up.
Isaac: I just--uh, I meant generally.
Mr. Lahey: You wouldn't be lying to me, would you, Isaac?
Isaac: No.
Mr. Lahey: Then tell me your grade.
Isaac: I just told you, I don't know.
Mr. Lahey: You wanna take this little conversation downstairs? No? Then tell me the grade, son.
Isaac: Dad, this semester's only half over.
Mr. Lahey:Isaac?
Isaac: There's plenty of time
Mr. Lahey: -- Isaac.
Isaac: It's--it's a "D".
Mr. Lahey: All right. It's a "D". I'm not angry. You know I'm gonna have to find a way to punish you though. I have my responsibility as a parent. So, we'll start with something simple, like, uh Tell you what, you do the dishes and clean up the kitchen, okay?
Isaac: Yeah.
Mr. Lahey: Good. Because I'd really like to see this place spotless.[Cup shattering] Know what I'm saying? You know? I mean this entire kitchen. [Clattering] Yeah! [Laughs] Yeah, absolutely [Glass shattering] Spotless. [he throws a glass that breaks against the wall, causing a shard to lodge into the skin below Isaac's right eye] Well, that was your fault.
Isaac: You could have blinded me.
Mr. Lahey: Shut up! It's a scratch! It's hardly even... [Isaac starts to heal. Mr. Lahey is speechless. Isaac anxiously runs out of the house before his dad can ask him about it] Isaac... Isaac!
Jackson: [watches from in front of his house] Freaks.
Mr. Lahey: Isaac! Isaac! Isaac. Isaac? Isaac? Okay, that's enough. Let's go! That's it, grab your bike and let's go! Isaac? [sees kanima in the alley and runs away] Holy - ! Aah! [kanima chases him down and begins to attack him] No! No! No! Aah! No! Aah! No! No! No! No!

Stiles: How did you do that?
Derek: I'm the Alpha.

Allison: Are you ready for this?
Lydia: Please. It's not like my aunt's a serial killer!

Ice Pick [2.3]

Erica: I have beautiful everything.
Stiles: And a new-found self confidence.

Stiles [to Scott]: This new-found heroism is making me very attracted to you. You wanna just make out a little bit? Just to see how it feels?

Stiles: Erica looks pretty good. The word sensational comes to mind.

Coach: McCall, I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy.

Chris: Our sons are trained to be soldiers. Our daughters? To be leaders.

Allison: Is this how we're gonna do father-daughter talks from now on?
Chris: No, this is how we're gonna train you.

Abomination [2.4]

Derek: What did you see in the mechanic garage?
Stiles: Ah... several alarming EPA violations that I'm seriously considering reporting.

Stiles: Holy God!

Derek: Did you notice that I'm paralyzed from the neck down in 8 feet of water!

Stiles: Can't you just trust me this once?
Derek: No!
Stiles: I'm the one who keeps you alive, okay. Did you notice that?

Venomous [2.5]

Stiles: [to Isaac] Sounds like the beginning of a heartfelt story, but I'm gonna pass.

Stiles: [to Isaac] Unrequited love is a bitch.

Allison: [to Erica] I thought you were psychic, bitch?

Frenemy [2.6]

Scott: I know who he's after.
Stiles: What, how? How? Did you smell something?
Scott: Armani.

Scott: Dude, everyone in here is a dude. I think we're in a gay club.
Stiles: [surrounded by a large group of drag queens, two of whom are stroking his cheeks] Man, nothing gets past those keen werewolf senses, huh, Scott?

[After Danny was attacked by the kanima]

Scott: One more question-- just one. Are you okay?
Danny: Did it happen to my ex too?
Scott: ...Yeah.
Danny: Then I'm great!

Scott: [sees Sheriff Stilinski arrive at Jungle] Get rid of him!
Stiles: Get rid of him? We are at a crime scene and he's the Sheriff.

[After Stiles tried to "explain" to his father why he was at a gay club]

Sheriff Stilinski: You're not gay.
Stiles: I could be.
Sheriff Stilinski: Not dressed like that!

Allison: We're just a bunch of teenagers. We can't handle this.

Stiles: [to Scott] I'm 147 pounds of pale skin and fragile bone, okay? Sarcasm is my only defense.

Restraint [2.7]

Melissa: I have to ground you. I am grounding you. You are grounded.
Scott: What about work?
Melissa: Fine. Other than work. And no TV.
Scott: My TV's broken.
Melissa: Then no computer.
Scott: I need the computer for school.
Melissa: Then no... uh... [glances at Stiles] No Stiles.
Stiles: [interrupts them] What?! No Stiles?!
Melissa: NO STILES!

Erica: Stiles, you make a good Batman.

Stiles: You wanna play Cat Woman? I'll be your Batman.

Scott: What did you tell her?
Allison: That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures.
Stiles: I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures.
Allison: Oh... great!

Raving [2.8]

Chris: Derek, back off.
Derek: Back off? That's really all you've got? I've gotta be honest, Chris, I really was expecting more from the big bad veteran werewolf hunter.
Chris: Okay, how about "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to bring claws to a gun fight?" [Chris and the other hunters aim their assault rifles at Derek and Boyd]
Boyd: That one was pretty good, Derek.

Scott: What are you doing?
Mrs. Argent: Isn't it obvious? I'm killing you.

Gerard: Careful, gentlemen-- something wicked this way comes.

Isaac: What are you, some kind of witch?
Deaton: No, I'm a veterinarian.

Party Guessed [2.9]

Peter: I heard there was a party. Don't worry, I invited myself.

Matt: Photographers call them candids.
Allison: Well, police officers call it stalking.

Gerard: [to Chris] Go up there and help your wife die with dignity.

Scott: Why should I apologize?
Stiles: Because you're the guy. It's, like, what we do.

Scott: [about Lydia] She's completely ignored Stiles the past ten years!
Stiles: [offended] I prefer to think of it as me not having been on her radar.

Scott: Maybe it's just early?
Stiles: Or, maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town whack-job.

Jackson: [to Lydia] You do not want me there.

Derek: The full moon is coming, and with the way things are going, I have a feeling it's gonna be a rough one.

Gerard: Your wife is already dead. That thing over there is just a cocoon waiting to hatch.

Lydia: [to Peter in her hallucination] Are you real?
Peter: Interestingly, that question can also be answered, "Not yet."

Fury [2.10]

Matt: Well, Derek, not everyone is lucky enough to be a big, bad werewolf. Oh, yeah that's right, I learned a few things lately. Werewolves, hunters, kanimas-- it's like a freaking Halloween party every full moon. Except for you, Stiles-- what do you turn into?
Stiles: Abominable snowman. But it's more like a winter-time thing. You know, seasonal.

Derek: [paralyzed by kanima and pinned under a paralyzed Stiles] Get him off of me.
Matt: Oh, I don't know Derek, I think you two make a pretty good pair.

Derek: I can move my toes.
Stiles: Dude, I can move my toes.

Battlefield [2.11]

Derek: [after Peter offers help] Why would I want help from a total psycho?
Peter: First off, I'm not a total pyscho. You're the one who slashed my throat wide open. But, we're all works in progress, right?

Peter: [as Derek prepares to hit him again] You don't honestly think I want to be alpha again? That wasn't my best performance, considering it ended in my death. [Derek pulls back his fist to punch him] Oh, go ahead, hit me! Hit me! I can see it's cathartic for you-- a way to work out the pain and self-loathing that comes with complete and utter failure. I may be the one taking the beating, but you, Derek? You've already been beaten.

Stiles: I'm playing? On the field? With the team?
Coach Finstock: Yes, unless you'd rather play with yourself.
Stiles: I already did that today. Twice.

Peter: Quite the situation you've got yourself in here, Derek. I mean, I'm out of commission for a few weeks, and suddenly, there's lizard people, geriatric psychopaths, and you're cooking up werewolves out of every self-esteem deprived adolescent in town.

Master Plan [2.12]

Scott: [to Isaac] That's Peter, Derek's uncle. A little while back, he tried to kill us all, and then we set him on fire and Derek slashed his throat.
Peter: Hi.
Isaac: Good to know.

[Lydia is about to leave to save Jackson alone]

Stiles: You see, death doesn't happen to you Lydia, it happens to everyone around you, okay? To all the people left standing at your funeral, trying to figure out how they're gonna live the rest of their lives without you in it.

[Derek and Peter are leaving to help stop Jackson]
Peter: Derek, we need Lydia.
Derek: There no ti-!
[Peter holds up hand to silence Derek]
Peter: That's the problem-- we're rushing. We're moving too fast. And while everyone knows that a moving target is harder to hit, here we are racing right into Gerard's cross-hairs.
Derek: If I get the chance to kill Jackson, I'm taking it.

Season 3

Tattoo [3.01]

Braeden: I have to... I have to tell him.
Melissa: Who?
Braeden: The alpha. Find the alpha.
Melissa: [confused] What do you want with Derek Hale? [hands her off to another orderly]
Braeden: No. Not Hale. McCall. Scott McCall.

Melissa: Do you have any other emergency werewolf contacts?
Isaac: [sighs] Yeah. Call Scott

Lydia: Allison, I love you. So, if you need to do that thing where we talk about me, and pretend like we're not actually talking about you, it's totally fine. But, I don't want a boyfriend. I want a distraction.

Lydia: [to Allison] And, seriously, an American werewolf in London? Like that's not going to be a disaster.

Scott: Can we drive? Now, please?
Stiles: No. It's a red light.

Stiles [sees an injury on Lydia's ankle] Hey, Lydia, what is that? Is that from the accident?
Lydia: ...No. Prada bit me.
Stiles: [confused] Your dog?
Lydia: [sarcastically] No, my designer handbag. ...Yes, my dog.

Scott: The birds at school and the deer last night... just like the night I got trampled by the deer when I got bit by the alpha. [realizes what is happening] How many are there?
Derek: [sighs] A pack of them. An alpha pack.
Stiles: [confused] All of them? How does that even work?
Derek: I hear there's some kind of leader. He's called Deucalion. We know they have Boyd and Erica. Peter, Isaac and I have been looking for them the last four months.

Chaos Rising [3.02]

Heather: Do you know what I want for my birthday?
Stiles: [nervous] A bike?
Heather: To not be a seventeen-year-old virgin.

Heather: [talking about sex] Have you never done it before either?
Stiles: [embarrassed] Turned seventeen? Yeah, no, not yet, no.

Isaac: [to Derek about Peter] You know Scott doesn't trust him, right? And personally, I--well, I trust Scott.

Peter: [enters the loft after overhearing Derek and Isaac] Boys. FYI, while coming back from the dead has left my abilities somewhat impaired, the hearing still works. So, I hope you're comfortable saying whatever it is you were feeling straight to my face.
Derek: We don't like you. Now, shut up and help us.
Peter: Fair enough.

Lydia: [leers at the new twins at school] I want one.
Allison: Which one?
Lydia: The straight one, obviously.

Scott: They're trying to help.
Derek: [incredulous] These two? [points to Lydia] This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic uncle, thank you. [points to Allison] And this one, who shot about thirty arrows into me and my pack.
Stiles: Okay, all right, now. Come on, no one died, alright? Look, there may have been some maiming, okay? A little mangling, but no death! That's what I call an important distinction.

Peter: Do I have to remind you what we're up against here? A pack of alphas, all of them killers. And, if that's not enough to scare your testicles back into your stomach, try to remember that two of them combine to form one giant alpha. I'm sure Erica and Boyd were sweet kids. They're going to be missed.
Stiles: Can someone kill him again, please?

Stiles: I can't take waiting around like this, you know? It's nerve wracking. My nerves are wracked, they're severely wracked. Wracked.
Peter: [annoyed] I could beat you unconscious and wake you when it's over?

Stiles: I just... I don't understand the bank, though, okay? What... like, why wouldn't they chain them up in some underground lair or something? They're an alpha pack, right? So, shouldn't they have a lair?
Peter: They're werewolves, not Bond villains.
Stiles: Wait a sec, wait a sec-- maybe they're living there! You know? Like, maybe the bank vault reminds them of their little wolf dens!
Peter: Wolf dens?
Stiles: Yeah, wolf dens! Why, where do you live?
Peter: [sarcastically] In an underground network of caves hidden deep in the woods.
Stiles: [stunned] Whoa, really?
Peter: No, you idiot. I have an apartment downtown.

Deucalion: [to Ms. Morrell] Don't kid yourself, Marin. It's not the first time you've gotten your hands dirty.

Fireflies [3.03]

Scott: Derek, I saw Boyd try to rip two little kids apart. Are they going to do that to everyone they find?
Derek: Everyone and anyone.

Caitlin: You coming?
Emily: Okay, there is a snake out here the size of a train.
Caitlin: [laughs] Then kick it!
Emily: Uh, yeah, if I kick it, it will swallow my foot and drag me back down to Mordor.

Stiles: [looks at the dead body Lydia found at the pool] Okay, I'm going to call my dad.
Lydia: I already called 911.
Stiles: You called the police before you called me?
Lydia: I'm supposed to call you first when I find a dead body?
Stiles: [screams] YES!

Scott: [about the dead body] Are you sure?
Stiles: [on phone] Yep. Throat ripped out, blood everywhere. It's like the frickin' Shining over here. If two little twin girls come out of the woods and start asking me to play with them forever and ever, I'm not gonna be surprised.

Scott: We need help.
Derek: We have Isaac now.
Scott: I mean real help.

[Isaac looks at him, offended]

Scott: They're too fast for us, for all of us. They're too strong, too rabid.

Scott: And, just curious, is there a reason the gun is still pointed at me?
Argent: Well, there's probably still some part of me that wants to shoot you...
Scott: [shrugs] I get that.

Isaac: Does anybody else want to rethink the plan where we just, uh, kill 'em?

Lydia: You didn't have to follow me home.
Stiles: I just wanted to make sure you got in okay!
Lydia: ...I had a police escort.
Stiles: I know the inner workings of that force, alright? They're not nearly as reliable as people think!

Derek: Cora's alive.
Peter: So I heard! Let's throw the reunion party when she's not an unstoppable killing machine.

Argent: California fireflies aren't bioluminescent-- they don't glow.

Scott: So, Boyd and Cora might not have killed anyone?
Stiles: [sighs] You're gonna wish they did.
Scott: Why?
Stiles: I'm not exactly sure yet. The other girl who was out in the woods, Emily? Eventually, they're going to find her. She's one of them. Emily, Heather, that guy Lydia found at the pool? All three were virgins. And they're all gonna have the same three injuries-- strangled, throat-slashed, head bashed in. It's called the three-fold death.
Scott: [stunned] So, if these aren't random killings, then what are they?
Stiles: Sacrifices. Human sacrifices.

Unleashed [3.04]

Jennifer: What do you want? You gonna threaten me? Tell me that no one's gonna believe me? Try to scare me? ...Kill me?
Derek: [laughs] I was gonna see if you were okay.
Jennifer: Physically or emotionally? Although, I guess that presupposes I was emotionally okay before any of this, and according to my therapist, I... it's been debatable for a long time.

Scott: [about Kyle] I looked everywhere. It's like he just walked away. Left his car, his dog...
Stiles: Okay, was he like-- could he have been a virgin, maybe? Did he look like a virgin? Was he, you know, virginal?
Scott: [sarcastic] No, definitely not. Deaton makes me have sex with all his clients. It's a new policy.

Stiles: [about Kyle] Missing and presumed dead, Scott, because he was probably a virgin. You know who else is a virgin? Me. I'm a virgin, okay? You know what that means? It means my lack of sexual experience is now literally a threat to my life, okay? I need to have sex. Like, right now. Someone needs to have sex with me, like, today. Like, someone needs to sex me right now!
Danny: [appears behind him] Alright! I'll do it.
Stiles: Whoa! What?
Danny: Come over to my place at nine. Plan on staying the night. I like to cuddle.
Stiles: That is so sweet. Are you kidding?
Danny: [rolls his eyes] Yes, I'm kidding!
Stiles: [disappointed] You don't toy with a guys emotions like that, Danny. It's not attractive, alright?

Stiles: [to Scott and Isaac] The kid was strangled with a garrote, all right? Am I the only one recognizing the lack of werewolfitude in these murders?

Scott: Well, he's got a point. Seriously, dude, human sacrifices?
Stiles: Scott, your eyes turn into yellow glow sticks, okay? Hair literally grows from your cheeks, and then will immediately disappear, and if I were to stab you right now, it would just magically heal, but you're telling me that you're having trouble grasping human sacrifices?

Cora: I can't believe I got my ass thrown in a vault for three months for you. All those rumors I heard. A powerful new alpha. One of the Hales, building a pack! Do you know how long I've waited to hear something like that? Do you have any idea how it felt to find out you were alive?
Derek: I'm sorry to disappoint you.

Derek: [spits out blood from being impaled by Kali] What do you want? You want to kill me?
Deucalion: You really think I'm that boring? Don't throw me in with sociopaths like your uncle! I'm a man with far more vision than simple murder. In fact... I'm here to show you just how much vision a blind man can have.

Stiles: Whoa, hey, Boyd! I didn't know you were back at school.
Boyd: Yeah. I would have told you, but... we're not actually friends.

Allison: Can I ask you a question?
Isaac: Do you have to?
Allison: I guess not. [waits a moment] I'm gonna ask anyway-- did you tell anyone that I was at the school the other night?"
Isaac: No... Was I supposed to?
Allison: [smiles weakly] It would make me really happy if you didn't.
Isaac: Yeah, well, you being happy isn't really a big priority of mine, since you stabbed me twenty times with knives.
Allison: [smiles embarrassedly] They were actually Chinese ring daggers, but, okay. Sorry.

Stiles: [to Lydia] You know that there's a temple in Calcutta where they used to sacrifice a child every day? That's every day a dead baby, Lydia, every day! Hey, you wanna know what today is? It's dead baby day! Oh, no, wait, that's every day, because every day is dead baby day, yay!

Deucalion: [to Derek] See, the reason I've always invested in new talent is simple. We all know a pack is strongest due to its individual parts. The stronger the individual parts, the greater the whole. When I lost my sight, one of my betas assumed I wasn't fit for my role anymore. He tried to take it from me. Killing him taught me something about alphas I didn't know they could do. His power was added to mine. I became stronger, faster, more powerful than I'd ever been. I tested this new ability to subsume the power of your own by killing another one. In fact, Derek, I killed them all. I took the individual parts and became a greater individual whole.

Derek: I know what you are. You're a fanatic.
Deucalion: Know me? You've never seen anything like me! I am the Alpha of alphas. I am the apex of apex predators! I am Death, Destroyer of Worlds! I am the Demon Wolf! [thunder rumbles, and his voice is so loud his sunglasses crack] Hate it when that happens.

Stiles: [to Deaton] All these symbols and things-- the triskeles, the bank logo, the mountain ash-- all of it is from the Celtic Druids. And, anyone who has ever looked up human sacrifice before knows that the Druids had a pretty big hard-on when it came to giving one up to the gods. You ever heard of the Lindow man? 2,000 year old body found in England? He was found strangled, head bashed in, throat cut-- three-fold death.
Stiles: I'm just telling you everything you already know, aren't I? Then why aren't you telling us?
Deaton: Maybe because when you've spent every moment of the last ten years trying to push something away-- denying it, lying about it-- it becomes a pretty powerful habit.

Frayed [3.05]

Stiles: We shouldn't have come. I knew it. We shouldn't have come.
Scott: We had to. There's safety in numbers.
Stiles: Well, there's also death in numbers, Scott-- it's called a massacre. [looks it up in thesaurus] A bloodbath. Carnage. Slaughter. Butchery. Wow.

Lydia: [to Allison] Are you just following the bus, or are you planning on mounting it at some point?

Scott: [holds up Allison's arrow] I found it outside of the school, right where Isaac got Boyd and Cora to turn back.
Allison: How do you know it's not from the archery team?
Scott: [smiles] We don't have an archery team.
Allison: [embarrassed] Oh.
Scott: And, even if we did, they probably wouldn't be using military-grade, armor-piercing, titanium arrowheads. I looked it up.

Scott: Allison, the twins were just messing with us. I've seen the others. I'm not telling you this because I don't think you couldn't easily kick my ass if you wanted to-- I'm telling you this because they scare the hell out of me. And they should scare you, too.

Scott: [to Derek, Peter, Boyd, and Cora] Why is the default plan always murder? Just once, can someone try to come up with something that doesn't involve killing everyone?
Peter: You never get tired of being so blandly moral, do you? Not that I disagree with him.

Boyd: Cut off the head of the snake, and the body dies.
Peter: Only this isn't a snake, it's a hydra. And, like Scott said, they're all alphas.
Derek: Deucalion's still the leader.
Peter: Let's hope so, because, do you remember what happened when Hercules cut off of the the heads of the hydra?
Scott: [sighs] ...Two more grew back in its place.
Peter: [smirks] Somebody's been doing their summer reading!

Lydia: [stops making out with Aiden] What do you think you're doing?
Aiden: What do you mean?
Lydia: I mean, your hands!
Aiden: They're on your waist!
Lydia: I know. What am I, a nun? Put them somewhere useful.

Deucalion: Come on, Scott, put those away. I'd have to be blind, deaf, and quadriplegic for you to be an actual threat. Or, maybe you should take a chance. Your heart beats steady. You may be afraid of me, but you're controlling it. Maybe you'd actually rise to the occasion-- become an alpha by killing one.
Scott: [angry] I'm not like you. I don't have to kill people.
Deucalion: Hm. Not yet. But, situations come about, situations where you realize the only way to protect one person is to kill another.

Peter: Not my finest hour, no, but I'm hardly the only dysfunctional family member. Did Derek tell you he killed me, too? Slashed my throat ear to ear.

Scott: I don't know what else to do. Do I keep trying to get them to listen to me? Do I tell Derek that he's gonna get them all killed? How do you save someone who doesn't wanna be saved? How do I stop them?
Deaton: Don't stop them. Lead them.

Lydia: What's wrong with him?
Stiles: What's wrong with him? I don't... do I have a Ph.D in Lycanthropy? How am I supposed to know that?

Cora: An animal clinic?
Peter: It's not as ordinary as it looks. The building's half made out of mountain ash. I'm not actually sure how to get in.
Cora: [rolls her eyes] Well, maybe we could do what normal people do, and knock on the door.

Motel California [3.06]

Coach Finstock: [to the cross-country team] Listen up. The meet's been pushed 'til tomorrow. This is the closest motel with the most vacancies and the least amount of good judgment when it comes to accepting a bunch of degenerates like yourselves. You'll be pairing up, choose wisely. And, I'll have no sexual perversions perpetrated by you little deviants! You got that? Keep your dirty little hands to your dirty little selves!

Stiles: [talking about the murders] Alright, so I have four.
Scott: Four? You have four suspects?
Stiles: Yeah, it was originally ten. Well, nine, technically, I guess-- I had Derek on there twice.

Stiles: Are you serious? Have you still not seen Star Wars?
Scott: I swear, if we make it back alive, I will watch the movie.
Stiles: It just makes me crazy.

Derek: How bad?
Ms. Blake: To be honest, the "Oh, my God" would be for your wonderful physique, if not for the fact that you're bleeding black blood.

Stiles: That's a beautiful thing. Most places leave a mint under the pillow. This one leaves a record of all the horrible deaths that occurred!

Jennifer: [to Derek] Do you have any idea how bad you look? You're like one giant open wound. I'm not entirely sure you aren't really dead.

Stiles: Lydia, I'm sorry, okay? Look, I didn't mean that you're trying to kill people, okay? I just--I just meant that maybe... maybe you're somehow involved in getting people to kill themselves, you know? Which, now that I say that out loud, it just sounds really terrible, so I'm just going to stop talking.

Scott: Every time I try to fight back, it just gets worse. People keep getting hurt. People keep getting killed.
Stiles: Scott, listen to me, okay? This isn't you, alright? This is someone inside your head telling you to do this. Okay? Now--
Scott: --What if it isn't? What if it is just me? What if doing this is actually the best thing that I could do for everyone else? It all started that night, the night I got bitten. You remember the way it was before that? You and me, we were-- we were-- we were nothing. We weren't popular. We weren't good at lacrosse. We weren't important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all.
Stiles: Scott, just listen to me, okay? You're not no one. Okay? Scott, you're my best friend. Okay? And I need you. Scott, you're my brother. Alright, so... So, if you're gonna do this, then... I think you're just gonna have to take me with you. Alright?

Chris: In 1977, my uncle Alexander Argent checked into the Glen Capri motel for a one-night stay. In room 217, he used a shotgun to blow out the back of his skull. The autopsy report noted an unusual animal bite in his side.
Gerard: If you already have all the information, what do you want from me?
Chris: I want to know the alpha that bit him. I want his name.
Gerard: [smirks evilly] Deucalion.

Currents [3.07]

Ethan: I'm not going to hurt him.
Scott: Why should I believe you?
Ethan: Because we knew one of them would be important to you, and now we know it's Lydia.

Melissa: Boys! What do you think you're doing?
Isaac: Uh, we were watching over you!
Scott: We wanted to make sure you weren't the third sacrifice!
Melissa: ...But both of you were asleep.
Scott: [to Isaac] You were on watch last!
Isaac: What are you talking about? You were on watch last!
Scott: No, you were on watch last.
Isaac: [to Melissa, sheepishly] I might have been on watch last.
Melissa: My heroes!

Deaton: [to Scott on the phone] I honestly thought I would never have to burden you like this, but you're my only hope. I'm going to be taken. I need you to find me.

Derek: [when Boyd and Isaac show up at his loft] Go back to school.
Isaac: Well, actually, we can't-- Boyd and I are incredibly sick.
Derek: With what, brain damage?
Isaac: Well, I have a migraine, and, uh, Boyd here has explosive diarrhea.

Boyd: We're here to protect you.
Derek: You're here to protect me? Well, I'm in trouble, then.

Lydia: Sweetheart, my last boyfriend was a homicidal lizard. So, I think I can handle a werewolf.

Lydia: I'm not a psychic.
Stiles: [exasperated] You're something!

Deucalion: [to Scott] Impressive, but you know I'm not the one slashing up innocent people, praying to ancient gods, gathering herbs, or whatever the hell druids are supposed to do.

[Stiles looks through Danny's bookbag while he's asleep in his hospital bed]

Danny: [groggy and half-asleep] What are you doing?
Stiles: I'm not doing anything, Danny. This is just a dream that you're having.
Danny: Are you going through my stuff?
Stiles: Right, but only in the dream, remember? Dream. You're dreaming.
Danny: Why would I dream about you going through my stuff?
Stiles: I don't know that, Danny, okay? It's your dream. Take responsibility for it!

Kali: Gonna be honest, Derek-- when Ennis died, I thought to myself, "I'll just go for it." Find you and kill you, wherever you stood. Then, I remembered how you surround yourself with these teenagers, hiding behind them. And, I thought, "What's a girl gotta do to get you alone?" [has the twins bring out Jennifer, who they've taken hostage] You and me, Derek, or they tear her apart. What do you say? You think you can beat me one-on-one?
Derek: I'm gonna rip your throat out. With my teeth.

Erica: [in flashback] Boyd, what do you think will happen to us on the lunar eclipse? They last for hours, you know? Because it's just the earth's shadow. I wonder what will happen to us. Maybe it'll make us stronger. I hope it'll make us stronger.

Deaton: Your eyes, they were red! Bright red!
Scott: How is that possible?
Deaton: It's rare, something that does't happen within a hundred years. But, every once in a while, a beta can become an alpha without having to steal or take their power. They call it a true alpha. It's one that rises purely on the strength of character, virtue, by sheer force of will.
Scott: You knew this would happen.
Deaton: I believed. From the moment I knew you were bitten, I believed.

Visionary [3.08]

Cora: [about Derek's disappearance] Why do you care?
Stiles: Why do I care? Let's see: because, over the last few weeks, my best friend's tried to kill himself; his boss nearly got ritually sacrificed; a girl that I've known since I was three was ritually sacrificed; Boyd was killed by alphas... I--do you want me to keep going? 'Cause I can, alright? For, like, an hour.

Peter: [to Cora and Stiles] If you want to know what changed Derek, you need to know what changed the color of his eyes.

Gerard: [to Scott and Allison] Deucalion may have lost his eyes, but he's not always blind.

Stiles: Okay, so if Derek was a sophomore back then, how old was he? How old were you? How old are you now?
Peter: Not as young as we could have been, but not as old as you might think.
Stiles: Wow, that was frustratingly vague. [turns to Cora] How old are you?
Cora: I'm seventeen.
Stiles: See? That's an answer. That's how we answer people.
Cora: Well, seventeen how you'd measure in years...
Stiles: Alright, I'm just gonna drop it.

Gerard: [to Allison and Scott] There was an exceptionally powerful alpha who did live here. She had a capacity to shapeshift that was rare among her kind. That made her something of a leader, the kind of person that they would go to for advice and guidance... Talia Hale.

Deucalion: [in flashback] I'm an alpha. I never walk alone.

Deucalion: Don't, don't do this! I had a vision. A vision of peace!
Gerard: A little short sighted, wouldn't you say?

Scott: [to Gerard] If you lied and it gets people hurt, I'll be back to take away more than your pain.

The Girl Who Knew Too Much [3.09]

Lydia: Oh no, I'm not doing that again. You find the dead body from now on.
Stiles: How are we supposed to find the dead body? You're always the one finding the dead body.

Sheriff: So... Scott and Derek are... werewolves?
Stiles: Yes!
Sheriff: And... Kate Argent was a werewolf?
Stiles: Hunter. Purple is "hunter." [holds up sticky note]
Cora: ...Along with Allison and her father.
Sheriff: [skeptical] Yeah. And, my friend Deaton, the veterinarian, is a... [consults papers] kanima?
Stiles: No, no, no, he's a druid. Well, we think.
Sheriff: So, who's the kanima?
Stiles: Jackson.
Sheriff: [confused] No, Jackson's a werewolf.
Stiles: Jackson was a kanima first, then Peter and Derek killed him, and he came back to life as a werewolf, and now he's in London... [shakes head in frustration]

Marin Morrell: [to Scott about Deucalion] Exactly. You want the psychologist's perspective? He's an obsessive who both desires you and is threatened by you. If the obsessive can't have the object of his desire, he'll choose to destroy it instead. You'll either willingly become part of his pack, or he'll make a killer out of you, destroying your potential to be a true alpha.

Lydia: Okay, fine. I'm psychic.
Jennifer: [skeptical] You're psychic?
Lydia: [frustrated] I'm SOMETHING!

Scott: I thought you were going home.
Lydia: I can't. I don't know why I'm the one that keeps finding the bodies. But maybe, if I stopped trying to fight it, I'd find them before it happens. Maybe with enough time for someone like you to do something about it.
Scott: You get me the time, and I'll something about it. I swear to God, I will.

Isaac: Are you sure we shouldn't call Scott?
Allison: [pulls out ring dagger] Stay behind me and stay quiet.
Isaac: [after Allison leaves the car] Oh, this is so not gonna end well.

Stiles: [to Ethan] Is he talking about me? Are you threatening me? You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna break off an extra-large branch of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane, roll it in mistletoe, and shove it up your freakin' a--"

Ethan:: In actual wolf packs, omegas are the scapegoat. The last to eat, the ones who have to take the abuse from the rest of the pack.
Stiles: So, you and your brother were, like, the bitches of the pack?
Ethan: Something like that.

Stiles: Do you realize how suicidally crazy that was? What were you thinking, going after them?
Cora: I did it for Boyd. None of you were doing anything.
Scott: We're trying.
Cora: And you're failing. You're just a bunch of stupid teenagers running around, thinking you can stop people from getting killed. But, all you do is show up late. All you really do is find the bodies.

Stiles: You saw something that you can't explain.
Sheriff: Stiles, I have seen a lot of things I can't explain in this town. That doesn't make 'em supernatural, and it doesn't make 'em real. They just found another body. That's real, and that's the lead I'm following.
Stiles: Yeah, and another teacher's going to die if you don't start listening to me--
Sheriff Stilinski: --I am listening! I have been listening!
Stiles: ...You just don't believe. Mom would have believed me.

Jennifer: [to Lydia] Unbelievable. You have no idea what you are, do you? The Wailing Woman. A banshee right before my eyes. You're just like me, Lydia. "Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under't." It's too bad, though... and too late.

The Overlooked [3.10]

Melissa: [horrified] You're supposed to be dead.
Peter: I get that a lot, actually.

Melissa: You're him, aren't you?
Deucalion: Him?
Melissa: The bad guy.
Deucalion: [smiles] You have no idea.

Stiles [to unconscious Cora]:You just hold on a little longer, okay? Trust me, if anyone's gonna get us out of this, it's Scott. [sighs] I can't believe I just said that. You know, I actually used to be the one with the plan. Well, or at least a plan B. Now, I don't know. Now I'm thinking maybe you were right. You know, maybe... maybe we are pretty much useless. Maybe all we really do is show up and find the bodies. [beat] I don't want to find my father's body. [beat] You know, you're a lot easier to talk to when you're completely unconscious.

Stiles: [to unconscious Cora] You know, the next time I put my lips to your mouth, you better be awake.

Jennifer: For years, the Nemeton's power was virtually gone, like the dying ember of a burned out fire. But a few months earlier, something happened that caused that ember to glow a little brighter. Something that gave it a spark of power again-- the sacrifice of a virgin. You didn't know what you were doing back then, but killing Paige in the root cellar, sacrificing her there, gave power to the Nemeton. You gave it power again. You gave me power. Just enough to hold on to life a little longer. Long enough to be found.

Jennifer: We were the overlooked. The emissaries. It was a mistake Deucalion and the alphas should never have made, because I made an oath of my own-- from virgins and warriors, from healers, philosophers, and guardians, to loan me their power so that I could teach these monsters that their monstrous actions would never be overlooked.

Derek: You killed innocent people.
Jennifer: So have you. I know the real color of your eyes, Derek, and I know what it means. I'm not asking you to save just my life. I'm asking you to save everyone they'll ever hurt again.
Derek: [defeated] You can't beat them.
Jennifer: Are you sure about that? Boyd asked you right before he died, "What happens to a werewolf during a lunar eclipse?" You didn't get the chance to tell him, but you know, don't you? What happens, Derek? During the total lunar eclipse?
Derek: We lose all our power.

Chris: [about Jennifer Blake] I don't even think I know what teacher that is.
Isaac: She's the one with the brown hair. She's kinda hot. [everyone stares at him] ...Just an observation.

Deucalion: They're gone. Guardians, Scott. If you were with me, I could've told you what it meant. I could have warned you. Let me help you, Scott. Let's help each other. You help me catch her, and I'll help you get your mother and Stiles' father back.

Melissa: Oh god, where are we?
Sheriff Stilinski: I don't know. Looks like a root cellar to me, but, uh... she called it something different. She called it a... a Nemeton.

Alpha Pack [3.11]

Isaac: [to Peter] Not to bring up uncomfortable memories, but wasn't the last time you saw them the time you killed Kate and they burned you alive?

Agent McCall: A Stilinski at the center of this whole mess. What a shocker. Think you can answer some questions without the usual level of sarcasm?
Stiles: If you ask the questions without the usual level of stupid.

Isaac: Want to figure something out? Because while Scott and Stiles were out there trying to help people from being killed, you were in here, rolling around the sheets with the actual killer! Do you get how many people she's killed? Erica and Boyd are dead, Cora is dying, and you're doing nothing! Why did you do this to us Derek? Was it all about the power? Were you bored? Were you lonely?
Derek: Maybe. [Isaac angrily goes to leave] I told Cora I wouldn't leave. I'll help the others when I figure out how to help her.
Isaac: There's no time! The full moon's coming. The sheriff and Melissa are going to be dead, so I'm going to help them. You can sit here and perfect the art of doing nothing.

Allison: What about Lydia?
Chris: [confused] Lydia? What can she do?
Stiles: Uh, Lydia's got sort of a talent. She somehow ended up finding a couple of the bodies... um, without actually looking for them.
Chris: What is she, psychic?
Stiles: She's... something.

Peter: I've heard it's something only an alpha can do, and with good reason.
Derek: Which is?
Peter: You know normal wolves never abandon an injured member of the pack. They care for it. They bring it food from a kill, and then regurgitate it into the mouth of the injured wolf. They even give it physical and emotional comfort by intensely grooming it. In a way, they can do more than just ease pain. They can be instrumental in healing their own.
Derek: If you're trying to tell me I can save her, just tell me.
Peter: I'm telling you... I've heard it's possible.
Derek: How?
Peter: It's that spark of power that makes you an alpha. When you take her pain, she draws on the power that provides you with those special gifts. The power that heightens your senses, your strength. The power that transforms your body. As an alpha, you have that bit of extra, that spark that intensifies the color of your eyes from a bright yellow into a searing red.
Derek: If I can save her...
Peter: If.
Derek: If?
Peter: I didn't say it works every time. It could just as easily kill you.
Derek: How do I do it? By taking her pain?
Peter: And then some. Because there's a cost.

Peter: I can understand not seeing a downside to this, as you haven't exactly been Alpha Of The Year, but think about what else you'll be losing.
Derek: I don't care about power. Not any more.
Peter: What about the power to fight back? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kali's ultimatum still stands, and the full moon is tomorrow night. And if you couldn't beat her as an alpha, how do you think you're going to beat her as a beta?

Jennifer: [to Chris] Argent... the French word for silver. Interesting how truth becomes altered by legend... when it's not actually the metal silver that kills werewolves, but the family. What's the Argent Code again? "We hunt those who hunt us?" I hope you don't mind if I borrow it for a little while, since I've been hunted myself.

Stiles: So, you're asking me to tell you what I wouldn't not tell you?
Special Agent McCall: First, I have no idea what you just said. Second, how about you just help me help you?
Stiles: Well I don't know how to help you help me tell you something if I don't know it.

Deucalion: What do you know about Jennifer?
Marin Morrell: Nothing more than you know. This isn't you, Scott. Go back to your friends.
Deucalion: He can decide what's right for himself.
Marin: Not without all the information. Have you told him everything you've done? How you've piled up bodies in a narcissistically psychotic effort to form your perfect pack? Bodies that include Ennis, by the way. My brother saved him. He was alive when Deucalion when in to see him. He wants you to go after Derek, Kali, to force his decision. If Derek joins the pack, it paves the way for Scott.

Melissa: [to Chris] I don't want to kill your optimism or anything, but both of us have been trying to do the same thing for hours.

Deaton: Essentially, you, Allison, and Stiles need to be surrogate sacrifices for your parents.
Scott: We die for them?
Stiles: But, he can bring us back. [to Deaton] You can... you can bring us back, right?
Deaton: You remember the part where I said it was dangerous? If it goes right, the three of you will be dead for a few seconds. But, there's something else you need to think about. This is a dangerous thing for more reasons than one. You'll be giving power back to the Nemeton, a place that hasn't had power for a long time. This kind of power is like a magnet-- it attracts the supernatural, the kind of things that a family like the Argents can fill the pages with a bestiary with. It will draw them here, like a beacon. [...] It'll also have an effect on the three of you. You won't be able to see it, but you'll feel it. Every day, for the rest of your lives. It'll be a kind of darkness around your heart. And permanent, like a scar.

Stiles: [to Scott] By the way, if I don't make it back and you do, there's something you should know. Your dad's in town.

Lunar Ellipse [3.12]

Melissa: Is she actually going to come down here and slash all our throats?
Sheriff Stilinski: Nah. ...She'll actually come down here, strangle us with a garrote, and then slash all our throats.

Derek: Do you want me to run?
Peter: [sarcastically] No, I want you to stay and get slaughtered by an alpha with a psychotic foot fetish. Of course I want you to run! Sprint, gallop, leap your way the hell out of this town.

Kali: [about Derek] Where is he?
Lydia:I think he said he was heading out to do some shopping. You know, your usual werewolf afternoon.
Kali: Who do you think you're talking to?
Lydia: Someone in desperate need of a pedicure. I'd be happy to give you a referral!

Jennifer: So, who wants to go first?

Melissa: Anyone else feeling an unbearable itch they can't scratch?
Sheriff Stilinski: Well, not before you said something. But now? Yes, I do.

Jennifer: That's right, Kali. Look at me. Look at my face. Do you know what it takes to be able to look like this, to be able to look normal?
Kali: I don't care.
Jennifer: It takes power. Power like this.

Deucalion: Kill her now and it's over. Become the alpha you're meant to be. Become a killer.
Scott: They're not dead yet.
Deucalion: Who's going to save them? Your friends?
Scott: My pack.

Derek: My mother told me you were a man of vision once. We're letting you go because we hope you can be that man again.
Scott: But if you're not, then having your eyesight won't matter, because you'll never see us coming.

Isaac: [struggling to hold up the collapsed roof of the root cellar] Is it me, or is this place getting smaller?

Sheriff Stilinski: I always said aluminum was better than wood.

Jennifer: How did you do that?
Scott: I'm an alpha now. So whatever you're doing to cause the storm, make it stop, or I'll kill you myself. I don't care what it does to the color of my eyes.
Deucalion: It won't change the color of mine, so allow me.

Stiles: Do you think you can come get us?
Scott: Yeah, of course.
Stiles: Uh, bring a ladder.

Allison: We're going to have a new code. Nous protègeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protèger eux-měmes
Argent: [smiles] "We protect those who cannot protect themselves."

Jennifer: Of course it's you. Everyone else suffers, but somehow, you come out on top. And now that Scott's an alpha, you'll be able to steal it from him. You'll be an alpha again.
Peter: Again? Again?! I am the alpha. I've always been the alpha!

Anchors [3.13]

Stiles: Have you ever had a dream where you feel like you're about to wake up, but you can't move or talk? It happens because during REM sleep, your body is basically paralyzed. It's called muscle atonia. That way, if you start dreaming about running, you don't actually start running in your bed.
Scott: That makes sense.
Stiles: But sometimes, your mind can wake up before your body does. So, for this split second, you're actually aware that your body is paralyzed.
Scott: And that's the terrifying part?
Stiles: It turns your dream into a nightmare. You can feel like you're falling, like you're being strangled, or, in my case, like you're in the center of a grove of magical trees where human sacrifices took place.

Isaac: What do you mean?
Scott: I mean, you didn't kiss her, did you?
Isaac: No! Absolutely not. No.
Scott: ...Did you want to?
Isaac: Oh yeah, totally.

Melissa: You two supernatural teenage boys! Don't test my entirely un-supernatural level of patience!

Lydia: Well, well, well, look who's no longer the crazy one.
Allison: We're not crazy!
Lydia: Hallucinating? Sleep paralysis? Yeah, you guys are fine.
Scott: We did die and come back to life. That's gotta have some side effects, right?

[Stiles picks up a file off the floor and reads it aloud while Sheriff works]

Stiles: [reads] "Strange sighting of bipedal lizard-man sprinting across freeway."
Sheriff: [sighs] Kanima pile.

Scott: Okay, so what happens to a person who has a near-death experience and comes out of it seeing things?
Stiles: And is unable to tell what's real or not?
Allison: And is being haunted by demonic visions of dead relatives?
Isaac: They're all locked up because they're insane.
Stiles: Ha, ha. Can you at least try to be helpful?
Isaac: For half my childhood, I was locked in a freezer. So, being helpful is kind of a new thing for me.

Stiles: Demons?...Why not?

[Scott unexpectedly started wolfing-out in anger when he heard his father was trying to fire Sheriff Stilinski]

Melissa: You told me you and Stiles learned a way to control this. You find an anchor, right? Find your anchor.
Scott: [groans in pain] My anchor was Allison. I don't have Allison anymore.
Melissa: Then be your own anchor.

Melissa: [to Scott] Sweetheart, let me tell you something no teenager ever believes, but I swear to you is the absolute truth-- you fall in love more than once. It'll happen again. And it'll be just as amazing and extraordinary as the first time. And maybe just as painful. But it will happen again, I promise. And, until then-- be your own anchor.

Stiles: You know, if my dad's right, that means there's another werewolf in town that we haven't met yet.
Scott: [sighs] I know.
Stiles: And, if it turns out to be something like triplets that form into, like, a three-headed hound of hell, I'm seriously not up for that.

Stiles: [jumps at the sound of howling, startling Scott] Sorry, buddy. I hate coyotes so much. They always sound like they're mauling some tiny, helpless little animal.

[Peter and Derek have been captured by hunters and are being tortured with electricity. After a moment, they get a moment of reprieve. Derek glares at Peter]

Peter: Why are you looking at me like this is my fault?
Derek: Because it is your fault.
Peter: [after they're shocked again] Yeah, you're probably right.

More Bad Than Good [3.14]

Severo: [to Derek and Peter] So, why don't you just tell us? Where is La Loba?

Araya: No tienes que ser tan duro. ["You don't have to be so hard"]
Derek: No hablo español. ["I don't speak Spanish"]
Araya: Tú hablas muchas idiomas, Derek Hale. ["You speak many languages, Derek Hale"] You know exactly what I'm saying. And, you know who we want. Where is the She-Wolf?

Scott: [to Sheriff] Okay, but if it was a full moon and she did change while her mom was driving, then anything could have happened.
Stiles: Horrible things could have happened! Ripping, shredding, tearing things.

Stiles: Think about it, Dad, all right? They're driving. Malia starts to change, she goes out of control, the mom crashes, and everybody dies.
Scott: Except for Malia.
Stiles: She blames herself, alright? Goes off running into the woods, and eventually becomes trapped inside the body of a coyote!
Sheriff: That makes sense. [Stiles and Scott look hopeful] In a Chinese folktale!

Agent McCall: [to Sheriff] Come on, Stilinski. You know how this goes. It's the not knowing that ruins people like Tate. The truth-- no matter how profoundly it sucks-- the truth is always better than not knowing.

[Allison, Scott, and Stiles are looking at a map of the nature preserve on Scott's phone]

Stiles: Here's where we found the den. It's right in the middle of the hiking trails.
Allison: Well, that could narrow it down-- coyotes travel on fixed trails. [to Scott] But, I think you're right about her not going back to the den. Coyotes don't like wolves, and they're really smart. If they don't want to be heard, they actually walk on their toes.
Stiles: [dumbfounded] Coyotes tip-toe?!
Allison: [rolls her eyes] They tip-toe.

Mr. Yukimura: Kira! You forgot all the research you did for that boy you like.

Stiles: What the hell is happening to me?
Scott: We'll figure it out. You're going to be okay.
Stiles: Am I? Are you? Scott, you can't transform. Allison's being haunted by her dead aunt, and I'm straight-up losing my mind. We can't do this. We can't-we can't help Malia. We can't help anyone.
Scott: We can try. We can always try.

Peter: [to hunter] I don't want to make it sound like we don't appreciate your hospitality, but do you think it would be possible to put that [his disembodied finger] on ice? Maybe something for my hand? Extra-large bandaid? Perhaps some antibiotic ointment?

[Braeden arrived and neutralized the Calaveras before she comes downstairs where Peter and Derek are being held]

Derek: [shocked] You're the one who saved Isaac.
Braeden: I'm the one who was hired to save Isaac.
Peter: Someone hired you to get us out of here?!
Braeden: Someone hired me to get Derek out of here. You, I'm totally fine leaving for dead.
Peter: Where did I get this reputation?

Derek: Who hired you?
Braeden: Deucalion.
Peter: Deucalion? The guy who did that to you? [gestures toward the scars on her neck and face]
Braeden: [shrugs] Girl's gotta eat.

Stiles: [about Isaac] Okay, what is the point of him? Seriously. I mean, what is his purpose? Aside from his persistent negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf, anyway? It's 65 degrees out.

Stiles: We need a real alpha. [Scott makes an offended face] You know what I mean. An alpha who can do alpha things! You know, an alpha who can get it going. You know, get it...
Isaac: ...Up?
Scott: [defeated] Great. I'm an alpha with... performance issues.

Scott: What if I can't control it? What if I can't turn back?
Ethan: Then it takes over. You become Malia. You get further and further away from being human. You turn into an animal. Or worse--
Aiden: --You turn into Peter.

Allison: How am I supposed to help anyone if I'm like this? What am I supposed to do?
Isaac: Allison. Let me help you. Show me what to do.

Lydia: Anyone else think we might be doing more harm than good?
Scott: We're trying to keep a father from killing his own daughter.
Isaac: Actually, we're trying to keep a guy from killing a coyote, who is actually his daughter, who we don't know how to change from a coyote back into his daughter...
Stiles: And again with the not helping.
[Isaac side-eyes Stiles]:

Lydia: [to Stiles] You don't need the instructions. When was the last time you've ever used instructions, am I right? You don't need them because you're too smart to waste your time with them, okay? You can figure it out. Stiles, you're the one who always figures it out. So, you can do it. Figure. It. Out.

[Stiles and Lydia hear Scott's alpha roar all the way across the woods]

Stiles: Oh, that's what I'm talking about!

Galvanize [3.15]

Ethan: You seriously want to go back to high school? Is this about Lydia?
Aiden: This about getting Scott to change his mind. We're not just betas anymore, we're omegas. The bitches, remember? When everyone we've screwed over finds out that we don't have a pack anymore, what do you think's going to happen? We're dead on our own.
Ethan: That's still better than being back in high school.

Stiles: Scott, I don't think you get it, yet. You're an alpha. You're the apex predator! Everyone wants you. You're like the hot girl that every guy wants.
Scott: [confused] The hot girl?
Stiles: You are the hottest girl! [Stiles leaves just as Isaac joins them]
Isaac: [confused] ...What?
Scott: I'm the hot girl?
Isaac: Yes, you are! [Scott and Isaac both smile like angels]

Isaac: Barrow went after kids with glowing eyes? He said those exact words?
Stiles: Yeah, and no one knows how he woke up from anesthesia. Just that when they opened him up, they found a tumor of live flies. Which, in any other circumstance, would be all kinds of awesome.

Mr. Yukimura: "Try again. Fail again. Fail better."
Kira: Are you quoting Samuel Beckett to me?
Mr. Yukimura: I thought that was Yoda?

Mr. Yukimura: Someone will show an interest. You're a beautiful girl. How could they not?
Kira: The only one who's shown any interest in me is a rabid coyote.
Mr. Yukimura: Well, maybe you could date the coyote?

Stiles: [about Lydia] She has a feeling, a supernatural feeling!
Sheriff: [confused] Lydia wasn't on the chessboard!
Stiles: Well, she is now.
Sheriff: [sighs] Kanima?
Stiles: Um, banshee.
Sheriff: Oh, god.

Isaac: [about the twins] So, this is how it's gonna be now? We trust them?
Scott: Just because I'm letting them help, doesn't mean I trust them.
Isaac: Yeah, well, I don't trust them, either. Or like them. In fact, I hate them, and I kinda just want them to die.

Peter: [to Derek] You know, there's always an element of danger to rituals like this. I'm not particularly fond of them! ...Unless they somehow benefit me in some way.
Derek: [rolls eyes] What do you want?
Peter: I want to keep them. [Derek side-eyes him] Sentimental value. [Derek side-eyes him harder] She was your mother, but she was also my sister! [Derek gives him a stronger look] What? Am I not allowed a little bit of sentiment?

Coach: If I were four years younger, I'd punch you!
Stiles: What? Coach, that doesn't make sense.
Coach: Oh. Well, it does to me.

Lydia: [looks at Stiles working on his crime board] What do the different colored strings mean?
Stiles: Oh, just different stages of the investigation. So, green is "solved," yellow is "to be determined," blue's just pretty...
Lydia: What does red mean?
Stiles: "Unsolved."
Lydia: ...You only have red on the board.
Stiles: [sarcastic] Yes, I'm aware. Thank you.

Stiles: Hey, Lydia, you've been right every time something like this has happened, okay? So, don't start doubting yourself now.
Lydia: [discouraged] No scent? No bomb? And I got you in trouble.
Stiles: Okay, look, Barrow was there, alright? You knew it. You felt it. And, look, if you wanted to, I'd go back to that school right now and search all night just to prove it.

Isaac: Alright, maybe I was trying to kiss you.
Allison: [smiles, then realizes what she's doing] Are you completely, totally out of your mind? You actually think that I would want to kiss you? Or, any other werewolf ever again? Because trust me on this, I would never kiss you. Ever.
Isaac: ...Never...
Allison: Never.
Isaac: Okay. Alright, fine. I won't kiss you either. [Isaac takes off shirt. Allison stares at him and takes off her own shirt]

[Chris walks in on Allison and Isaac with their shirts off]

Chris: [scowling] Allison, can I see you in my office? [looks at Isaac] Where I keep my guns?
Chris [yells after Allison leaves the room] ANOTHER WEREWOLF?

Scott: What do you hear now?
Lydia: [discouraged] Nothing. I feel like I can do this, but I don't know what to do. It's like it's on the tip of my tongue, and I don't know how to trigger it! I just... I swear to God, it literally makes me want to scream!
Stiles: [gets an idea] Okay, then scream, Lydia. Scream.

[Lydia screams like a banshee]

William Barrow: [to Kira] Oh, did you ever see a movie called Village of the Damned? The original, not the remake. Nobody cares about crappy remakes. I'm talking about the 1960 black-and-white masterpiece. Huh? It's about this group of children; blonde-haired, beautiful children who make their eyes glow. And they do terrible, terrible things. The tag-line on the poster read, "Beware the stare that will paralyze the will of the world." Now, when I told everyone that I saw children with glowing eyes, they wouldn't believe me! I tried to get them to do something. They wouldn't budge! They wouldn't move. As if they had been paralyzed. I am going to shake them out of their paralysis. I'm going to get them moving. [holds up a stripped wire that is sparking] I am going to galvanize them.

Illuminated [3.16]

Agent McCall: You believe this?
Sheriff: To be honest, I haven't believed a word Stiles has said he he learned how to speak.

Stiles: [about Kira] No, you need to remember someone left a coded message telling Barrow to kill her.
Scott: Which is why I need to talk to her.
Stiles: Scott, no way. Until we figure out if she's just another psychotic monster that's gonna start murdering everybody, I vote against any and all interaction.
Scott: [stares at Kira] What if she's like me?
Stiles: That girl walked through 1.21 jiggawatts of electricity. She's not like you.

Ethan: [to Aiden] You don't get it, do you? Scott doesn't care about power. He cares about people. You want to be a wolf in his pack? Try being a human in high school.

Mrs. Martin: Sweetheart, since this is my first class and I haven't taught in five years, I just wanted to remind you of one thing-- try not to embarrass me.
Lydia: You should have thought about that before wearing those shoes! ...Love you!

Lydia: [to Aiden] The other night, I helped save someone's life. That felt really good. And, I look at you, and all I can think is that you helped kill Boyd. You're not just a bad boy, Aiden. You're a bad guy. And I don't want to be with the bad guys.

[Stiles gives Scott and Kira the various keycards needed to get into the various doors of the Sheriff's station]

Scott: ...You didn't steal these, did you?
Stiles: No, I cloned them, using an RFID emulator.
Scott: [baffled] Is that worse than stealing?
Stiles: ...It's smarter.

Stiles: [trying to stall Agent McCall] I was just... I was thinking, on the case. I was thinking, I should clue you in on my thinking. Here's my thinking. I was thinking this-- I was thinking that Barrow, right? I was thinking that Barrow received the information about who to kill at the school, right, you know that? So, I was thinking, maybe the person who gave him the information-- check this out-- might actually be someone at the school. And, that's, uh, my thinking.

Allison: I'm frustrated
Isaac: Sexually?

Allison: Do you wanna talk about Scott, or do you wanna paint my body?
Isaac: [stares at Allison, who is only wearing a bra and a skirt] I wanna paint your body.

Stiles: I thought you liked girls
Caitlin: I do like girls. Do you?
Stiles: Absolutely.
Caitlin: Great!
Stiles: So you also like boys?
Caitlin: Absolutely. Do you?

[Stiles looks alarmed]

Kira: How are you so okay with all of this? I showed up a picture that would send anybody else running the other way.
Scott: It didn't look that bad to me.
Kira: [skeptical] I look like a demon from hell.
Scott: I guess I saw something different. It kind of looks like it's, uh, protecting you. Kind of like armor. And it doesn't look like a demon to me.
Kira: What do you think it looks like?
Scott: [hesitates] It looks like a fox.

Silverfinger [3.17]

Scott: What was behind the mask?
Argent: Darkness. Absolute darkness.

Scott: Is this about being in my pack?
Aiden: This is about you being the target of demonic ninjas.
Ethan: You mean, the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chests and completely kicked our asses?
Aiden: [smiles fakely] Yeah, those demonic ninjas.

Scott: [to the twins] I'm a true alpha. You have no idea what I can do.

[Melissa McCall interviews Stiles at the hospital about his symptoms]

Stiles: Blackouts, but not for that long... And sleepwalking, which I used to do a lot as a kid. Um, also having some really bad anxiety.
Melissa: Panic attacks?
Stiles: Yeah, a couple. Oh, and I temporarily lost the ability to read. But, that might have had more to do with this giant magic tree and the whole human-sacrifice thing...
Melissa: [smiles] I recall something vaguely about that, yes.

Melissa: Been feeling irritable?
Stiles: Yeah, possibly to the point of homicide.
Melissa: Inability to focus?
Stiles: No, the Adderall's not working.
Melissa: Impulsive behavior?
Stiles: More than my usual? Hard to tell.
Melissa: Vivid dreams during the day?
Stiles: Okay, basically all of the above.

Melissa: Get some rest.
Stiles: [about to fall asleep; grabs her hand] Thanks, Mom.

Isaac: [to Allison and Argent] Guys, this isn't going to work. I look ridiculous. I mean, I look like I just stepped out of the last period of a Catholic prep school! And there is no way that I'm going to be able to remember all this. I mean, what does this even mean? [reads off card] "Revolving over and under barrels?"

Allison: You can do this. You're not a boy if you walk in there acting like a man. Okay? Go in there with confidence, and all they'll see is a boyish looking man.
Isaac: Or, a stupid teenager pretending to be a man. I'm going to get my head blown off by a bunch of Japanese fingerless mobsters...

Kira: I don't wanna sound pessimistic or anything, but do you really think that's going to keep them out?
Scott: Actually, we have a kind of security system. Things happened a couple weeks ago, a lot of things, and we had my boss help make a few changes to the house.
Kira: Your boss? Do you work for a security company or something?
Scott: No, he's a veterinarian.

Kincaid: [to Isaac] You don't know the whole story behind this gun, do you? There was no duel between brothers. That was the cover story. The real one involves an encounter in the woods with a vicious animal. Its bite caused one of the men to change into something... monstrous. By his family's Code, the brother of this man killed him with this very gun.

Scott: Go get a warrant.
Agent McCall: I don't need a warrant, I'm your father.
Scott: No, you're a gene donor. I got my hair color from you, and that's all I got. So, you're not allowed to play tough dad with me.

Argent: Starting to remember? It was twenty-four years ago. You know what they are, don't you?
Katashi: They're called oni. They are demons, and they're unstoppable.

Scott: Where the hell did you come from?!
Derek: I've been following you.
Scott: [confused] For how long?
Derek: [shrugs] All day!

[Aiden and Ethan see that Kira can't cross the mountain ash]

Aiden: [to Kira] So, what are you?
Derek: She's a kitsune, idiot. Use your eyes, you can see it all around her. The younger ones give off an aura. She just hasn't learned how to conceal it yet. She probably doesn't know what kind she is, either.

Katashi: There are thirteen kinds of kitsune; celestial, wild, ocean, thunder. But there is one, a dark kitsune. They call it void, or nogitsune. [...] Nogitsune draws its power from pain and tragedy, strife and chaos.

Aiden: Why do you think we're here, Derek? For study group? We're here to protect Scott.
Ethan: We're trying to fight for him.
Derek: I'm sure you are. I'm sure you'd kill for him. But, are you willing to die for him?

Riddled [3.18]

Aiden: Are we even allowed to be here this late? What if security catches us?
Lydia: There is no security. The number of homicides in this school has seen to it that no sane person will ever take a night job here again.

Lydia: You didn't hear that?
Aiden: [sighs] Lydia, I'm not sure anyone hears what you hear.

Nogitsune: Everyone has it, but no one can lose it. What is it, Stiles?

Aiden: So, do you think he was just sleepwalking? Or is there something more to it?
Derek: In this town, there's always something more.

Derek: [to Aiden] You think Stiles-- skinny defenseless Stiles-- is the nogitsune? A powerful, dark spirit?

Stiles: You know what they're looking for, right? It's called frontotemporal dementia. Areas of your brain start to shrink. It's what my mother had. It's the only form of dementia that can hit teenagers... and there's no cure.
Scott: Stiles, if you have it we'll do something. I'll do something.

Kira: I'm not sure if I should go in. You're going to tell Scott that Barrow might have used foxfire-- created by me-- to jumpstart the nogitsune's power inside Stiles?
Derek: Yeah.
Kira: ...Basically, that I helped a dark spirit take control of his best friend.
Derek: ...You should probably wait here...

Derek: [to Scott] [My mother] told me something that changed my perspective on a lot of things. She said that my family didn't just live in Beacon Hills-- they protected it. This town needs someone to protect it. Someone like you.

Noshiko Yukimura: You know me. [Nogitsune/Stiles nods] Then you know that I won't be deterred by your choice of host. Even if it's an innocent boy.
Nogitsune/Stiles: Are you threatening us?
Noshiko: [summons two oni] Now I'm threatening you.
Nogitsune/Stiles: We're not really afraid of your little fireflies.
Noshiko: If the oni can't defeat you, I know someone who will.

Letharia Vulpina [3.19]

Deaton: There's a fox hiding inside a teenage boy... and I'm going to poison it

[Scott and Melissa arrive at the hospital to visit Isaac. They find Allison waiting outside his room]

Scott: Have you been here all night?
Allison: Yeah. They won't let me see him because I'm not family. I told them he doesn't have any.
Melissa: He's got us. And, I have a key-card.

Argent: So, I don't suppose you have any idea why Stiles would frame us for murder.
Derek: I didn't think Stiles was smart enough to frame us for murder.

Peter: [to Lydia] Do you actually think I was trying to kill you when I bit you? You were my back-up plan, remember? Not to mention, the bite is what brought out your latent abilities. You think power like that was going to come out on its own? [clicks tongue] I'm the spark that lit your fire, sweetheart.

Peter: You want the truth, Lydia? It's not the scream that gives you power. All the scream does is help drown out the noise, allowing you to hear what you really need to. I can help you focus your hearing.
Allison: [skeptical] But you want something in return.
Peter: [sarcastic] No, I'm dedicating my life to helping out narcissistic teenage girls. Of course I want something in return.

[Derek and Argent are still handcuffed to a bench at the Sheriff's station. Derek jiggles his wrist against his cuffs, trying to break free]

Derek: I could easily get out of these, you know.
Argent: So could I. But, I'm not interested in being a fugitive from the law.
Derek: Well, I'm not interested in being a victim to a seventeen-year-old possessed by a psychotic fox.
Argent: Just give me a few more minutes. Derek!
Derek: Okay, fine. But, if something happens, don't expect me to risk my life trying to save yours.

Noshiko Yukimura: [about her tails] You hid them in a book? Couldn't you find something more secure?
Ken Yukimura: How many high school students do you know who would willingly open a book?

Ken: You still haven't talked to Kira, have you?
Noshiko: Barely a word since the hospital.
Ken: You need to tell her. Especially about this. You've already sacrificed five. Three of the oni are gone. How many more tails are you willing to sacrifice?
Noshiko: If I have to? All of them.

Lydia: [to Peter] I said, I don't know. I don't know its name, if it's a boy or a girl, or if it's some mutated wolf baby.

Allison: Peter and Malia?
Lydia: ...Father and daughter.

Stiles [possessed by the nogitsune]: [to Scott] Does it hurt? Hey, look at me. You should have done your reading, Scott. See, a nogitsune feeds off chaos, strife, and pain. This morning, you took it from Isaac, then you took it from Coach, and then, from a dying deputy. All that pain-- you took it all. Now, give it to me.

Stiles: You really have to learn, Scott. You really have to learn not to trust a fox. Hmm-mmm. Know why? 'Cause they're tricksters. They'll fool you. They'll fool everyone.
Deaton: [comes up behind him and injects him with letharia vulpina] Not everyone.

Echo House [3.20]

Scott: I can't help you if you're in here
Stiles: And I can't hurt you

Oliver: There was a suicide, huh?
Stiles: Yeah...
Oliver: Is it Monday? There's a much higher rate of suicide on Mondays.

Meredith: [on the turned-off pay phone] No. No, I think you're wrong. I really think I should tell them. They're going to want to know the story. The whole story. I really think they should know. Yes, I do. One of them is standing right behind me.

Derek: You know, if all of this is true... people are dead because of Stiles.
Argent: But, is it really Stiles? Remember, we've had this problem before.
Derek: But, we got lucky with Jackson. What happens when you don't get lucky?
Argent: I guess it depends on how much or how little of Stiles is left.

Argent: You ever heard of the berserkers?
Derek: Germanic warriors. They wore the skins of bears to channel their ferocity.
Argent: They didn't just wear them. They became them. You know, a couple years ago, a family came to use for help with their son. This group of teenagers, they were doing all sorts of rituals with animal skins. Somehow, they tapped into it. But, with berserkers, the human side doesn't last long. They're not tempered by the moon.

[Marin Morrell examines the marks that have appeared on Stiles' neck and back]

Marin: It's called a Lichtenberg figure. They appear on lightning strike victims. The fact that they're appearing on you after a shot of wolf lichen is both significant and strange.
Stiles: ...by "significant and strange," do you mean, "hopeful, and optimistic?"

Stiles: So, when the nogitsune takes over, you're going to kill me?
Marin: I'm going to do what I've always done-- maintain the balance.
Stiles: [sighs] Okay, then. I've missed our talks. Thanks for the illicit drugs.

Stiles: I was kind of wondering why you punched me...
Malia: Did you think I was going to thank you?
Stiles: No... [she stares at him] ...Maybe. We did kind of save your life?
Malia: [sarcastic] You're right, Stiles. Thank you. Thanks for invading my home, for putting me on the run. For turning me back to human, so that I could look at my father every day and try to figure out how to explain to him that the reason my sister and mother are dead is because I almost ate them on a full moon. Thank you so very much.

Scott: This is a really bad plan.
Lydia: ... It's not that bad.
Ethan: It's not that good!
Lydia: [sighs] None of us knows the route they're going to take. If Allison can get one of her dad's GPS trackers on the armored car, then we can follow it. So, when it gets here...
Aiden: We attack them?
Lydia: No. Your bikes will be in the middle of the road, looking like you guys got into an accident. And when the driver gets out to help...
Aiden: [hopeful] We attack him?
Lydia & Allison: [in unison] NO.
Lydia: You distract him. And, Scott will break open the back door--
Scott: [nervous] ...I hope.
Lydia: [ignores him] And you'll get Katashi's finger.
Ethan: [alarmed] It's not his actual finger, is it?
Lydia: [frustrated] You're so out of our league.

Araya: [to Argent] I don't fish, mijo. I hunt.

Scott: [to Kincaid] Give me the finger. [Kindcaid looks at him, confused] You know what I mean.

[Stiles and Malia have just kissed when Stiles pulls away]

Stiles: Was that your first kiss? [Malia nods] You want to try it again?

[Malia nods and they kiss again]

Aiden: You want him to come after us?
Ethan: Scott, we've seen guys like this. Trust us, he's dangerous.
Scott: So are we. And he looks smart enough to remember that. We're here to save a life, not end one.

Scott: [about the Shugendu scroll] Does it say anything?
Deaton: My Japanese isn't great... but, it appears to say that one method of expelling a nogitsune is to change the body of the host.
Scott: [confused] Change the body?
Deaton: Which begs the question... how do we change Stiles' body?
Scott: ...By turning him into a werewolf.

The Fox and the Wolf [3.21]

Stiles/Nogitsune: No. No, I'd like to talk to you. The older the tail, the stronger the oni. Am I right? I know there's one tail left. I know it's the strongest.
Ken Yukimura: Unfortunately, I don't know what you're referring to.
Stiles/Nogitsune: [sighs] You'll talk.

[One of the nogitsune's flies forces itself down Ken's throat]

Stiles/Nogitsune: They always talk.

Kira: You going to tell me what it is?
Noshiko: [she feeds medicine to Ken] Reishi.
Kira: [confused] You're not seriously giving Dad magic mushrooms?

Scott: If that's you, then you'd have to be like, ninety years old.
Noshiko: [smiles] Closer to nine hundred.
Kira: [stunned] Okay. Sure. Why not? [to Ken] Dad, how old are you?
Ken: Forty-three. But, I've been told I look mid-thirties!

Scott: All this, it's all happened before, hasn't it?
Noshiko: Yes.
Ken: Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Satomi: [flashback] I know what you think of me, Noshiko. You think I am weak because I follow the rules. You think rules are for the obedience of fools and cowards. The young fox always knows the rules so she can break them. The older, wiser animal learns the exceptions to the rules.

Noshiko: [to Scott] Wolves and foxes tend not to get along. And not just in fables and stories.
Ken: [to Noshiko] But, allies, however unlikely, should be welcomed. Especially in times of war.

[At the Sheriff's station, Deputy Parrish is signing Argent and Derek out of jail. Parrish holds up Chris' cattle-prod taser]

Deputy Parrish: Sorry, but I can't let you walk out with this. It's way above the legal voltage limit.
Argent: [glances at Derek] I only use it for hunting.

[Derek shoots Chris an unamused look]

Deputy Parrish: Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure you could use it to jump-start a 747.

Deputy Parrish: Sheriff, I'm not kidding. This thing is a few watts from being a lightsaber!

Argent: That's the problem. We're all trying to out-fox the fox.
Sheriff: [sighs] Listen, I'll understand if anyone backs out.
Derek: I'm not going to be the first wolf to run from a fox.
Argent: Apparently, I'm carrying a lightsaber!

[Noshiko recounts her memory of first learning that Satomi was a werewolf]

Noshiko: Now I knew why Satomi was always trying to keep quiet. Why she got migraines once a month, and why she was always at the game of Go. It kept her calm.
Scott: [shocked] She was bitten.
Noshiko: Bitten werewolves have a harder time suppressing their anger. One unexpected flare-up, and they could lose all control.

Sheriff: You know what? I don't know how you guys do it. You're all so strong. You're fearless. Hell, you even manage to keep your grades up!
Allison: ...I'm failing Econ.

Allison: I'm not... fearless. I'm terrified. [she starts to cry] I'm always terrified. I-I act like I know what I'm doing, but I don't. I don't know if Isaac is dying right now. I don't know if I made a mistake with Scott. I don't know what my dad is thinking. I don't know if we should trust Derek. I don't know... I don't know anything!

[She starts to sob, and Sheriff gives her a comforting hug]

Sheriff: [smiles] You know what's funny? You sound just like a cop.

Noshiko: The gunfire nearly killed me. I don't know how many bullets made their way into my body, but I fought every one of them. It left my body so weak, my heartbeat so slow, it appeared as though I was dead. But, even then, I was still better off than Rhys. His screams could be heard throughout Eichen House, echoing through every room, every hallway. He died in agony. The doctor, it seems, had also sold the morphine.

Noshiko: But, I could not die knowing they would get away. So, I called out to our ancestors for kitsune-tsuki. Poossession by a fox spirit. For a powerful nogitsune, one that feeds off chaos, strife, and pain, to take control of my weakened body, imbue it with power, and use it as a weapon. But, calling on a trickster spirit is a dangerous thing. They can have a very dark sense of humor. Because, while the nogitsune did come to possess someone, it wasn't me.

Noshiko: Coup de foudre. The literal translation is "a bolt of lightning." In French, it can also mean, "love at first sight." But, a bolt of lightning happens to be exactly what we need right now.
Kira: For what?
Noshiko: Excising the nogitsune from Rhys' body shattered the katana. But, you can put it back together.
Kira: Why don't you just do it yourself?
Noshiko: Because I'm not a thunder kitsune. Do you trust me?
Kira: I just found out you're nine hundred years old. I don't think I'm ever gonna trust you again.
Noshiko: Trust me on this.

[Noshiko gives Kira the repaired katana. When she takes it, her hand immediately begins to spin it of its own accord]

Noshiko: You see? It gives you balance. My power is yours, now, Kira. If the oni can't stop Stiles, you have to. The same as I did.

Scott: [about Stiles] There's a way to save him. There has to be.

Noshiko: [takes out the kaiken] I'll take it somewhere safe.
Ken: That's not what I'm worried about. History has not done well with making children into killers.
Noshiko: These children played their part in it long before we came back to Beacon Hills. I buried the jar deep within the roots of the Nemeton. It was their sacrifice that brought its power back. They let the demon out of its cage.

De-Void [3.22]

[Allison, Argent, Sheriff, and Derek are in a standoff with Stiles/Nogitsune. Argent has a gun aimed at Stiles' head and Sheriff has his gun aimed at Argent]

Allison: [whispers] Strife. [louder] Stop! Stop it! This is what he wants. This is exactly what he wants!
Stiles/Nogitsune: Not exactly. I was kind of hoping Scott would be here. But, I'm glad you all have your guns out, because you're not here to kill me. You're here to protect me.

[The sun goes down, and four oni materialize in the loft. The pack moves in front of Stiles/Nogitsune]

Stiles/Nogitsune: Why that kanji? Why "self?"
Noshiko: To signify that he died as himself. Because Rhys wasn't a monster. Not like you.
Stiles/Nogitsune: If I'm such a monster, why'd you call of the oni? What happened to the woman who called out for chaos, strife, and pain to descend upon everyone and everything? What happened?
Noshiko: I don't want that anymore.
Stiles/Nogitsune: I do.

[Stiles/Nogitsune has disemboweled himself with Noshiko's kaiken]

Noshiko: [horrified] What have you done?
Stiles/Nogitsune: Chaos has come again.

[Nogitsune flies swarm out of his stab wounds and fly around Beacon Hills]

Allison: Were you really gonna pull the trigger on Stiles?
Argent: To be honest, I'm not sure.
Allison: ...I'd check the firing pin.
Argent: [confused] You removed it? [Allison smiles] That's why women are the leaders in our family.

Derek: Back in his room, Stiles had a board with my name on one of the pieces. If this is a game to him, then I need to figure out the plays.
Peter: Not so easy to do when it's a game without rules.
Derek: [frowns] What does that mean?
Peter: You're dealing with the kind of spirit that's lived too long to play by human rules. It's a fox spirit that chose to become human. And supposedly, that's something that can do only after about a hundred years. If a kitsune is an annoying pain in the ass, then a nogitsune, which is a dark kitsune, is a freaking disaster. Besides, chess is Stiles' game. It's not the game of a Japanese fox.

Stiles/Nogitsune: [to Scott] Oh, I hope he gets there in time. I like the twins. Short tempers, homicidal compulsions... they're a lot more fun than you bakemono trying to save the world every day.

[Stiles/Nogitsune has just tricked Melissa into untaping his mouth by pretending to cry]

Stiles/Nogitsune: Really, Melissa? I shed one tear, that's all it takes? Come on. You can't crumble that easily. How are you going to hold up when Scott knows the truth?
Melissa: [confused] What?
Stiles/Nogitsune: When he finds out why his dad really left? You know he overheard it, right? [beat] You had no idea! You called Stilinski right after it happened. You didn't tell Scott, but you told the Sheriff. Hmmm. But, Stiles overheard it, like he hears everything. But, you want to know why he never told Scott? Because he knew Scott would never forgive you. He knew how much he would hate you.
Melissa: [trying to hold back her fury] This isn't you, Stiles.
Stiles/Nogitsune: [smirks] It is now!

Peter: [about Stiles/Nogitsune] He doesn't look like he would survive a slap across the face, much less the bite of a werewolf.
Scott: You don't think it would work?
Peter: [shakes head] This is more a war of the mind than the body. There are better methods to winning this battle.
Deaton: [unsure] What kind of methods?
Peter: [grabs Scott's arm and flicks out his claws] We're going to get into his head.

[Ethan and Aiden, who are both possessed by the nogitsune's flies, meet in the school and begin to fight]

Aiden: You have no idea what's going on right now, do you?
Ethan: Why should I care? Scott's never going to trust us anyway. You see the way he looks at us? Like the dogs that bit the neighbor. One more little incident, and he's either going to let us go, or put us down.
Aiden: [smiles fakely] I'm starting to think the same about you.
Ethan: See? That's what I'm talking about. I'd probably be in his pack by now if it wasn't for my psychotic brother. The one who has to kill everything in sight.
Aiden: Careful, Ethan. You're currently the only thing in my sight.

[Isaac has just tasered Ethan and Aiden and has knocked them both out]

Isaac: I guess this is the part where I say something witty. [beat] I'm not witty.

Deaton: So, do we have a plan?
Peter: Scott is going to try to dig through pale and sickly Evil Stiles' mind to unearth pale and sickly Real Stiles. Then, guide him back from the depths of his own subconscious. But, he's not going to do it alone.
Scott: What do you mean?
Peter': [looks at Lydia and smirks] Somebody needs to go in with you.

Isaac: [digs around Coach's desk and talks to himself] Come on, Coach, you gotta have a lighter. I'm gonna burn it down. For Erica. For Boyd. For everyone. I'm gonna burn it.

[Allison and Kira have just locked themselves in Coach's office to hide from the nogitsune-fly-possessed Isaac, Ethan, and Aiden]

Kira: They're not going to kill each other, are they?
Allison: ...I think they're going to try.

Scott: So, what do we do if we find him?
Peter: You're going to have to guide him out somehow. Try to give him back control of his mind, his body.
Lydia: [aggravated] Could you elaborate on the "somehow?" It's not feeling very specific at the moment.
Peter: [shrugs] Improvise!
Scott: What if this is another trick?
Peter: [offended] When are you people going to start trusting me?
Scott: ...I meant him. [gestures to Stiles/Nogitsune]
Peter: [awkward] Oh.

[Nogitsune-fly-possessed Derek pours lighter fluid all over Argent, who he has tied to a chair]

Argent: [frantic] Okay, listen. Listen to me. Whatever's gotten into your head, this isn't the way to deal with it.
Derek: You burn my family, I burn yours. In fact, I'll burn the whole building down around you.
Argent: That was Kate. You know I had nothing to do with that. I'm not your enemy, Derek. Not anymore.
Derek: Yeah, you are! You, and Allison. Which is why I'm not gonna light this yet. [holds up lighter] I'm not! We're going to wait until she gets home, and we're going to let her watch.

[Scott and Lydia awaken in Stiles' head. They're in a room identical to the rooms at Eichen House, and each are bound to the bed in a five-point restraint]

Lydia: Do you actually need me to remind you that you're a werewolf?
Scott: ...We're in Stiles' head!
Lydia: And you're a supernatural creature with supernatural strength! Break. Free.

Derek: Why shouldn't I kill you? How many of us have you murdered? You're not my ally! You're not my ally. You're a hunter.
Argent: You're right. I am a hunter. Trained before I could even speak, and trained others. Do you know what the first lesson we teach is? We take our children, we bind them in a chair just like this. Then, we wait for them to get out. Most of them, it takes hours. Others? Seconds.

[He breaks free from the chair, grabs a gun hidden under the desk, and holds it under Derek's chin]

Argent: I don't want to kill you, Derek. Don't make me kill you. Please.

[Lydia and Scott find Stiles playing Go with the Nogitsune in his mind, but they can't reach him. They're trying to figure out what to do]

Lydia: [thinks] Stiles is part of your pack!
Scott: What? What do you mean?
Lydia: He's human. But, he's still part of the pack, right?
Scott: Yeah! Yeah, of course!
Lydia: [smiles] So, how do wolves signal their location to the rest of the pack?
Scott: [wolfs out] They howl.

Lydia: Why didn't it work?
Peter: [impatient] Because it's not science, Lydia. It's supernatural. I did my part. Now, give me the name.
Scott: [confused] What name? What are you talking about?
Peter: Lydia, a deal is a deal. Even with me.
Lydia: [whispers] Malia.

Insatiable [3.23]

Aiden: [talking about the nogitsune and Lydia] So, no one notices him just kidnapping her right out of the house?
Deaton: [annoyed] Most of us were concentrated on the bizarre sight of a creature materializing from out of the floor.

Melissa: Well, medically, you seem okay. You're definitely a real person.
Stiles: Okay, so, I'm real, but am I really me?

Scott: What about Lydia? Why would he take her?
Noshiko: He would only take her for an advantage.
Scott: You mean her power?
Noshiko: [nods] The power of a banshee.

Nogitsune: Can you hear them? Louder than usual, isn't it? Well, that's because a lot of bad things happened down here. What are the voices telling you? Are they saying Stiles is dying? [sing-songs] He is, you know. He's dying.
Lydia: [shrieks] Then what do you need me for? You think I can tell you something?
Nogitsune: Oh, I know you can.
Lydia: I'm not telling you anything!
Nogitsune: You won't have to. You'll be screaming.

Sheriff: You're a good guy, Parrish. That's what they all said at your old station. Though, no one could tell me exactly why you left.
Deputy Parrish: Maybe I needed a change? I don't really know. I guess I kind of felt drawn here.

Derek: You had a gun pointed at my head. You could've pulled the trigger. Why didn't you?
Argent: Because you're not my enemy anymore, Derek. And I'm not yours.

Allison: Just out of curiosity, do you remember the other night?
Isaac: [confused] You mean the night before last?
Allison: That night before you weren't you.
Isaac: Yeah, I remember.
Allison: So, that night... were you you, or were you not you...?
Isaac: You mean, the night when we were us?
Allison: Yeah. I just wanna know if... if it was actually you with me.
Isaac: ...did you want it to be someone else?
Allison: [laughs nervously] No. No. No, of course not.
Isaac: Good. Because it was me. And, I do remember it. I really remember it.

Kira: [about Meredith] Coach, you can't let them take her back. It's hard to explain, but if you let her go back, then really, really bad things are going to happen to Lydia, to Scott, and Stiles, and maybe everyone, including you. So, please, please don't let them take her.
Coach Finstock: ...Who are you?
Kira: [awkward] Um... I'm Kira. I'm new?

Nogitsune: The trickster stories are all about food, Lydia. The coyote, the raven, the fox. They're all hungry. I'm the same. I just crave something a little different. I eat what you feel. And I'm insatiable.

Allison: Dad, if something happens...
Argent: Hey, hey. You don't need to worry about me.
Allison: Well, yeah. I didn't get to say anything to Mom...
Argent: You didn't need to say anything. And I'm going to be around a long time, I promise.
Allison: Well, then take it as a reminder. Maybe you don't need to hear it, but I need to know that I said it. I love you. I'm proud of you. I'm... I'm proud of us.

Stiles: [about Meredith] Okay, will you just let me handle this, Isaac? Please? I just... I have more experience with banshees.
Isaac: Yeah, and mental patients.

Isaac: All right, I'll say it-- you look like you're dying. You're pale, and you're thin, and you look like you're getting worse. And we're all sitting here thinking it. When we find the other you, is he gonna look like he's getting better? What happens if he gets hurt?
Stiles: You mean, if he dies, do I die? I don't care. Just so long as no one else dies because of me. I remember everything I did, Scott. I remember pushing that sword into you. I remember twisting it.
Scott: It wasn't you.
Stiles: Yeah, but I remember it. You guys gotta promise me-- you can't let anyone else get hurt because of me.

Scott: We've done this before, guys. A couple of weeks ago, we were standing around just like this, and we saved Malia, remember? That was a total stranger. This is Lydia.
Allison: I'm here to save my best friend.
Scott: [looks at Stiles] I came to save mine.
Isaac: ... I just didn't feel like doing any homework.

[Allison has just been mortally wounded by the oni and is bleeding out in Scott's arms]

Allison: Did you find her? Is she okay? Is Lydia safe?
Scott: She's okay. [he tries to take her pain] I can't. I can't take your pain.
Allison: That's because it doesn't hurt.
Scott: No...
Allison: It's okay.
Scott: [cries] Allison...
Allison: It's okay. It's okay. It's perfect. I'm in the arms of my first love. The first person I ever loved. The person I'll always love. I love you, Scott. Scott McCall.
Scott: Don't, please. Don't. Allison, don't. Please.
Allison: [gasping] You have to tell my dad. You have to tell my dad. Tell him.

[Allison suddenly dies. Scott begins to sob. Kira, Noshiko, Isaac, and Argent are completely numb in despair]

The Divine Move [3.24]

[Stiles and Kira talk about Allison with Kira's parents]

Kira: But she did it. She killed one of them.
Stiles: Yeah, and then they killed her. Allison's dead. Now, I guess the only good thing is it looks like I'm dying, too.

Noshiko: He made a powerful move by splitting the two of you.
Kira: So, what's our move?
Ken: At this point, you need a divine move.

Argent: I appreciate the concern, but you don't have to stay. I'll be alright. I've dealt with this before. I have a capacity and an ability to compartmentalize my emotions.
Isaac: [turns to him, tears in his eyes] I don't.

[Aiden and Ethan have told Derek that they're leaving town]

Derek: Are you gonna try to convince [Lydia] to go with you?
Aiden: I'm gonna try and convince her to run and hide, like any sane person would do.
Derek: [to Ethan] And Danny?
Ethan: Allison's dead. Stiles is dying. What do you think?
Derek: I think Danny won't believe you. And Lydia would never run and hide.
Aiden: [sneers] Because of Stiles?
Derek: Because of Scott.

Derek: [to Ethan and Aiden] You've been trying to find a way into his pack. Trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him. But, you've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader. You fight for a leader's cause.
Aiden: What cause?
Derek: Scott's always been about one thing-- saving his friends. He will do anything and everything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning, he keeps fighting. When all hope is lost, he finds another way. And, when he's beaten down, he stands up again. You want to earn a place in his pack? You want redemption? Find another way to stay and fight.

[Argent and Isaac have found the four spare silver arrowheads that she made before she was killed]

Argent: [confused] Why would she make four of these?
Isaac: [in realization] She didn't. She made five. She made the first one, and then she figured it out. She used the first arrowhead to kill one of the oni. We saw her do it.

Isaac: What if silver is like a poison to them? What if it needs to stay in the body? What if that's what she was trying to tell you, that she'd figured it out?
Argent: These four would still have been setting when she went off to meet Scott.
Isaac: We could stop them.
Argent: [determined] No. We can kill them.

Stiles: Scott, hold on. I know what you're all thinking. If this works, it might kill me, too. But, even if it does, you have to go through with it. Stick with the plan, okay?
Scott: The plan is to save you. That's the plan I'm going with.

[They walk into the school to find they're in the Japanese garden where the first nogitsune was killed by the oni. It's snowing, and everyone is confused]

Stiles: Oh, this is definitely not part of the plan.

Void!Stiles: I've heard of an alpha pack, but not a pack of former alphas. It's a little sad, isn't it?
Derek: I might not be an alpha anymore, but I can still fight like one.

Nogitsune: Do you know the ritual of seppuku, Stiles?
Stiles: No, and I don't want to.
Nogitsune: When a samurai disembowels himself with his own sword to maintain his honor. But, that's not the cut that kills him. The killing stroke is made by his kaishakunin, who beheads the samurai with his own katana. Scott... Scott is your kaishakunin. I'm going to make your best friend kill you, Stiles. And, you're going to let him, because, just like you, they're all going to die. Everyone touched by an oni's blade. [beat] Unless Scott kills you first.
Stiles: Why? Why are you doing this?
Nogitsune: To win the game.

[Scott and Kira are fighting the oni while Stiles and Lydia hide]

Scott: How is this happening? How are we in this place?
Kira: You're asking me? A month ago, I'd never even touched a sword!

Nogitsune: Give up the game. You have no moves left.
Stiles: [gives Kira back her katana] I do. A divine move.

Void!Stiles/Nogitsune: This was my game. You think you can beat me at my own game? Divine move. Divine move? You think you have any moves at all? You can kill the oni, but me? Me? I'm a thousand years old, you can't kill me!
Lydia: [scared] But, we can change you!
Void!Stiles/Nogitsune: What?
Stiles: You forgot about the scroll.
Lydia: The Shugendu scroll?
Void!Stiles/Nogitsune: [whispers] Change the host.
Stiles: You can't be a fox and a wolf.

[Scott bites the Void!Stiles/Nogitsune, and then Kira quickly stabs him in the back with her katana]

Aiden: [dying] Lydia never believed I was one of the good guys anyway.
Derek: [sad] She'll believe me.

Kira: I wish I could say something to him. I wish I could say something to all of them. But, I don't know how much space or how much time I'm supposed to give them. And, I know I'm still just the new girl in school.
Lydia: [sees Malia being shown around the school] Not for long.

Ethan: I'm sorry. I just don't think I can stay.
Danny: Actually, it's okay.
Ethan: [surprised] You're breaking up with me?
Danny: [laughs] I... I like you. A lot. You're incredibly good-looking, and smart, and sweet, and... I... I just don't think I can do it.
Ethan: [confused] Date me?
Danny: [deadpans] Date a werewolf.
Ethan: You knew?
Danny: Dude, it's Beacon Hills!

Season 4

The Dark Moon [4.01]

Stiles: What's wrong with the plan?
Lydia: Stiles, this could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with. You're aware of that, right?
Stiles: ...I'm aware it's not our best.
Lydia: [anxious] We are going to die.
Stiles: Are you saying that as a banshee, or are you just being pessimistic?
Lydia: I'm saying it as a person who doesn't want to die.
Stiles: [frustrated] Okay, would you just mind restricting any talk of death to actual banshee predictions?
Lydia: [side-eyes him] This plan is stupid, and we're going to die.

Araya Calavera: Not smart to come alone.
Stiles: What makes you think we came alone?

[camera cut to Malia dancing alone on the dance floor, while Kira sits on a nearby couch, their eyes glowing blue and orange, respectively]

Araya: [furious] You brought a wolf into my home?
Stiles: We brought an alpha.

[camera cut to Scott in the hallway below, his eyes glowing red]

Araya: [sighs] My friends, I don't think you're aware of your poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?
Lydia: [hesitant] The part of the lunar phase when the moon is least visible in the sky.
Araya: But, do you know its meaning?
Lydia: [sadly] Some people say it's a time of reflection... or grief.
Araya: Grief and loss, mija. I wonder why, when you and your friends have suffered so much loss, you would risk it again for someone like Derek Hale?
Stiles: [serious] 'Cause we don't like to lose.

Stiles: Aw, come on. Just give us Derek! You don't want him anyway. Haven't you noticed what a downer he is? No sense of humor, poor conversationalist. Just-- come on, take the money.
Araya: [on radio] Severo? Show them how the Calaveras negotiate.

Araya: Someone who has been an alpha only a few months should be more careful when facing a hunter of forty years.
Scott: All we want is Derek.
Araya: Ay, lobito...You're a long way from home.

Araya: I have to admit, I don't have much experience with bean sidhes.
Lydia: That makes two of us, since I don't have much experience being one.

Malia: I say, when that door opens again, we take out whoever's standing in the way and run for it.
Kira: [confused] What about Lydia?
Malia: [oblivious] What about her?
Scott: We're not leaving without her.
Malia: Why not?
Stiles: [gently] Because we don't leave without people. Remember, we talked about this? The rules of the wild kingdom don't apply to friends.
Kira: Is that what you would do as a coyote? Leave her for dead?
Malia: If she was weak and injured, yeah. If hunting had been bad that season, I would eat her! Then, I'd leave.
Stiles: [embarrassed] Believe it or not, that's progress?

Lydia: [scared] What do you want?
Araya: Right now? I want to know about Scott McCall. I want to know what kind of alpha he really is.

Araya: Now, I know what kind of alpha you are, and where your next step lies.
Scott: [confused] What next step?
Araya: When you take the bite of an innocent. When you make a wolf of your own. When you do that, then I will cross your border, and come knocking at your door.

Kira: So, Kate's a werewolf, now?
Scott: I don't know. You know, there's a saying-- "Sometimes the shape you take reflects the person you are."
Lydia: [skeptical] What kind of shape is sociopathic bitch?

[Stiles' Jeep has broken down in the desert]

Lydia: [frustrated] Maybe we should just walk.
Stiles: [appalled] Hey, I will never abandon this Jeep! You understand me? Ever. Ever. Ever.

Stiles: Lydia, could you please hold the light still for a second? It's really hard to see anything if you keep shaking it like that.
Lydia: I'm shaking it like this because we're in the middle of nowhere with your broken down Jeep, and we're being attacked by yet another razor-clawed monster! And, I'm terrified.
Stiles: [shrugs] Well, just be slightly less terrified! And hold this. [hands her a car part]
Lydia: What's this?
Stiles: I don't know, I'm hoping it's not important.

[Scott and Braeden have just left La Iglesia with a young boy in tow to meet up with Kira, Malia, Lydia and Stiles. They gape in shock when they see it's teenage Derek]

Malia: [confused] Is that him? Is that Derek?
Stiles: [horrified] Uh... sort of.

117 [4.01]

[Scott, Lydia, and Stiles bring de-aged Derek to Deaton's clinic]

Dr. Deaton: [shocked] Wow.
Stiles: Wow? Wow, as in, "I've seen this before, and I know exactly what to do" kind of wow? 'Cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for.

Stiles: [about Malia] So, it's like two in the morning. I wake up, and she's just lying right next to me. She just sneaks in! This is like, five times a week.
Scott: And then what happens?
Stiles: [shows him claw marks on his back] This.
Scott: [in awe] Holy--
Stiles: Yeah, right on, right? After that, we spent the rest of the night spooning.
Scott: That sounds okay...
Stiles: Yeah, but I'm always the little spoon. Always.

[Sheriff Stilinski has just found de-aged Derek]

Sheriff Stilinski: I want you to be honest with me. Absolutely and completely honest. [pauses dramatically] Have you been time traveling?
Stiles: Hang on, what?
Sheriff: Because if time-traveling is real, you know what? I'm done. I'm out. You're going to be driving me to Eichen House.
Scott: We found him like that!
Sheriff: [exasperated] Where? Swimming in the fountain of youth?
Stiles: No! We found him buried in a tomb of wolfsbane in an Aztec temple in Mexico, underneath a church in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake...
Sheriff: [pauses] You told me you were camping!
Stiles: Yeah, we were! ...In Mexico.

Scott: [about Derek] I shouldn't have done that. I lied my ass off.
Stiles: Hey, your ass is fine. You saved him a ton of unnecessary pain. We'll figure this out in a day or two, he goes back to being old Derek, everyone's happy. ...Except for Derek, who's never happy...

Kira: Scott's going to find Peter, and we're supposed to meet Stiles at Scott's house.
Lydia: That sounds like a horrible plan. But, we've had worse. Like yesterday, in Mexico...?
Kira: [awkward] About that... Remember how we were in the club, and you and Scott were tied up to electrified cables?
Lydia: Vividly.
Kira: I know. I guess what I'm trying to ask is... if my hand was on the dial connected to you, and I had to turn it up to ten...
Lydia: ...Would I be angry?
Kira: ...Yeah...
Lydia: No. Because I knew you had no choice, exactly like Scott knows. And, if you're worried about him, just remember you're a katana-wielding, badass kitsune. And, he couldn't be more into you.

Scott: What are you doing here?
Malia: I heard you were coming to talk to Peter. And, since Lydia tells me he's basically Satan in a v-neck, I figured you shouldn't be alone.

Scott: Peter, this is Malia.
Peter: [stunned] Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your father?
Malia: [unnerved] Mother.
Peter: Interesting. Anyway, I'm sure they've told you a lot about me.
Malia: The homicidal killing spree came up!
Peter: [smirks] Well, we're all works in progress.

Peter: Can't someone in this town stay dead?
Malia: I think they were hoping you would.

Scott: Do you have any idea why Kate would turn Derek into a teenager again?
Peter: [thinks for a moment] What color were his eyes?
Scott: Blue.
Peter: Hmm. After Paige. Which could mean around the time he first met Kate.
Scott: [shocked] Derek and Kate knew each other?
Peter: [smirks] Biblically. That's right, Scott-- you weren't the first wolf to climb into a hunter's bed.

[Derek and Kate have found the triskelion in the vault]

Kate: This is it? You're sure?
Derek: Yeah.
Kate: It doesn't look like much.
Peter: That's 'cause it isn't. Quite the elaborate scheme you have here, Kate. Two countries, Aztec temples, Derek returned to a teenager... One that trusted you. One that loved you. All this complication, just to gain access to our vault. Just to get your hands on that little piece of junk. Turn it over. Go ahead. There's a scrape on the back where it used to say, "Made in China."

Lydia: [to Stiles] You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat.

Peter: [to Kate] Derek gave up on it back when he learned another way to control the shift. One I taught him. I taught him to use emotion. To use anger. And to focus on it, to feel every ounce of rage and hatred he that he could summon. It was the anger that taught him control. So, you want to learn to control it? You want to get angry, Kate? Let's get angry!

[Lydia and Stiles have found Peter in the vault after the robbery]

Peter: [mutters] It was never... never about the triskelion. They took it. They took it while I was blind...
Stiles: Took what?
Peter: Bonds. Bearer bonds. And, they took them all.
Stiles: Bearer bonds? Hold on, are you saying you got robbed?
Peter: This was a heist. Somebody planned this.
Lydia: How much did they take?
Peter: 117...
Stiles: [shocked] Thousand?
Peter: ...Million.

Muted [4.03]

The Mute: Hello, Sean. I just killed your family. Do you want to die like them? Begging for your life? Or, do you want to fight? I'll give you some help. Wrap a towel around your first. Smash the mirror. Use one of the shards to defend yourself. Go ahead, I'm waiting. [beat] Are you ready, Sean? Because here I come.

[Peter side-eyes Braeden when she sets her boots on the table]

Peter: That table's Italian.
Braeden: So are these boots.

Peter: [to Braeden] We're hiring you to find Kate, not assassinate the President.

[Kira has just learned her family plans on moving back to New York]

Ken: [to Noshiko] I thought you were going to talk to her?
Noshiko: Kira, we told you this was temporary.
Kira: That was after you told me I was a kitsune, and was going to have to destroy a dark spirit by stabbing and killing one of the few friends I've made in this town.
Noshiko: And you didn't have to! I call that a win!

Stiles: Okay, how'd you get this good? Have you always been this good? Or, did it suddenly happen just once over night? Have you ever been out in the middle of the woods during the night of a full--
Scott: [interrupts] Stiles--
Liam: Look, I learned from my step-father, all right? He made team captain when he was a sophomore. [looks at Scott] Like you. And yeah... I guess I'm just that good.

Malia: I hate math. It's pointless.
Stiles: It's school! School is important, and math is essential.
Malia: [annoyed] To what?
Stiles: [winks] Knowing how much to tip at restaurants.
Lydia: [rolls her eyes] And other less important things, like medicine, economics, engineering...
Stiles: [to Malia] Tipping!

Scott: Whoa, whoa, we've got Econ in five minutes.
Stiles: All right, did you forget the part about the family-murdering axe murderer?
Scott: Did you forget that your dad's the sheriff? They'd want us to stay out of it.
Stiles: Are you guys kidding me? There's a family-murdering axe murderer and we're not going to do anything about it?
Kira: Maybe we should let the adults handle it?
Stiles: So, the two of you, you just want to stay here at school, go to class? [Kira and Scott nod] I've never heard anything so irresponsible in my life.

[Stiles is weak and panting after sprinting around the field with the team. Scott holds him up to keep him from falling to the ground]

Stiles: [about Liam] He isn't human. What is he? Like a werecheetah? Does that even exist? Is that a thing?
Scott: I think he's just good.
Stiles: [pants] I'm gonna puke. Take me somewhere.

Kira: [to Malia, after watching Scott play horribly] Isn't the captain supposed to be one of the best players on the team? Or good?

Stiles: Dude, what is going on with you?
Scott: I don't know, I'm having a really off day.
Stiles: Off day? You were dying out there! I feel actual physical pain watching you!

[Stiles urges Scott to tap into his wolf powers for the team's sake]

Scott: It's cheating.
Stiles: I know it is. I just, I hate seeing this little freshman come in and steal all your glory after you worked your tushie off! I hate it!

Braeden: The problem is the people I need to talk to right now don't talk to people like you.
Derek: You want me to wait for you?
Braeden: I want you to trust me.
Derek: [smirks] And why would I trust you? I don't know anything about you.
Braeden: Yeah, well, I know you. And I know what you really want. You want what Kate stole from you. [speaks Gaelic] Briseann an dúchas trí shúile an chait. It means "The true nature of someone is reflected in their eyes." In your case, the color of your eyes.

[Lydia has just been found at the Walcott house by Deputy Parrish, after being drawn there in a banshee-fugue-state]

Lydia: I would try to explain, but I've never gotten a satisfactory explanation myself.
Deputy Parrish: Just an unusual habit of showing up at places where people have been brutally murdered?
Lydia: [smirks] Are you saying I have a reputation?
Deputy Parrish: An usual one. Maybe you're psychic?
Lydia: Don't tell me you believe all that?
Deputy Parrish: I'd like to say I don't believe in anything, but I keep an open mind. But, if you're looking for dead bodies, I think you're a little late.

Stiles: Hey, I don't need to say that wasn't your fault, right?
Scott: [sad] I don't know.
Stiles: Scott, if you had use any wolf power, that kid wouldn't be limping, he'd be crawling... back to the other half of his body.
Scott: If I hadn't been so worried about being captain, he wouldn't be hurt either.
Stiles: It's okay to want something for yourself once in a while. Team captain, alpha werewolf... you're still only human.

[Scott has just found Sean on the roof, about to eat Liam. Sean has revealed that he's a wendigo]

Scott: Don't! You don't need to do this. Whatever it is, whatever you are... we can help you.
Sean: No, you can't.
Scott: Let me help you.
Sean: Wendigos don't need help, we need food!

The Benefactor [4.04]

Sheriff Stilinski: Hey, let's get everyone off the roof. And, see if you can stall the M.E. for five minutes. I've got an expert of my own coming to take a look.
Deputy Parrish: [suspicious] You have an expert on teenage cannibals?

[Stiles has just arrived at Scott's house, to find he had accidentally bitten Liam and tied him up in his bathroom]

Stiles: So, you bit him.
Scott: ...Yeah...
Stiles: And, you kidnapped him.
Scott: ...Yeah...
Stiles: And, you brought him here.
Scott: I panicked!
Stiles: Yup. This isn't going to end with us burying the pieces of his body out in the desert, is it? [Liam starts whimpering in fear in the bathroom] As a reminder, this is why I always come up with the plans. Your plans suck.

Stiles: Okay, Liam. Now, you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight. And, more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight. Do you understand?
Liam: [angry] Not really.
Stiles: Good, that's good.
Scott: I don't understand, either.
Stiles: ...Maybe you should tell him.

[Kira and Lydia are looking at the code Lydia transcribed in a banshee fugue state]

Kira: These are your math notes? No wonder Malia's failing.
Lydia: Some of them are my notes. The rest, I think might actually be a code.
Kira: But, you don't remember writing it?
Lydia: Not in the slightest. But, considering my drawing of a tree led us to the Nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tries to kill us.

Natalie Martin: Remember the rules. No more than six people allowed in the lake house. Stay out of the wine. And, if anything gets broken, it's getting added to your credit card debt.
Lydia: [shrugs] Fine.
Natalie: And lock up the basement. From all the scratch marks I found on the walls, it looked like a pack of wild animals got down there.

[Lydia and Kira look at each other nervously]

[Scott and Stiles have confronted Liam at school]

Scott: We need to talk.
Liam: No, you need to back the hell up, okay? Both of you.
Scott: Can you just listen for one second? Please? [Liam gives him a look] Liam... we're brothers now.
Liam: [confused] What?
Stiles: [horrified] Oh, God, that's--
Liam: What are you talking about? We just met, and you bit me.
Scott: [anxious] The bite... the bite is a gift.
Stiles: [embarrassed] Scott, stop. Please, stop.

Stiles: You! You. We're trying to help you, you little runt!
Liam: [side-eyes him] By kidnapping me?
Stiles: ...Just to clarify, Scott kidnapped you, okay? I... aided, and abetted.

Scott: We're going to use the boathouse for Liam. It's got support beams, we can chain him to one of them.
Kira: But how do we get him out to the lake house if he doesn't trust us?
Stiles: I say, if it keeps him from murdering someone, we chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake.
Malia: [raises hand] I'm in!

Lydia: [to Kira] You know what they call a female fox? A vixen.

[Liam and Kira have arrived to the lake house, where Scott, Lydia, Malia and Stiles are waiting for them]

Liam: What the hell is this?
Stiles: Think of it like an intervention. You have a problem, Liam.
Scott: And we're the only ones that can help.

Sheriff Stilinski: [about the Mute] I still don't get how this guy has no mouth. How can he eat?
Derek: Oh, Peter didn't get a chance to ask. He was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest, so...

Liam: [to Scott] Werewolf? [to Malia] Werecoyote. [to Lydia] Banshee. [to Kira] Fox?
Kira: Kitsune. But, fox works.
Liam: [to Stiles] What are you?
Stiles: Uh, for a little while, I was possessed by an evil spirit. It was very evil.
Liam: And what are you now?
Stiles: [shrugs] Better?

Liam: How did you do that?
Scott: You'll learn. But first, you need to get through the full moon.
Liam: [angry] The moon's already out.
Scott: And you starting to feel something, aren't you?
Liam: [loses his temper] I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs! You guys are out of your freaking minds. I don't know how you did that eye-thing, and I don't care. I'm walking out that door right now, and if any of you try to stop me, I swear to God, I'm gonna--

[Liam begins to wolf out]

Lydia: What am I supposed to do with the hordes gathering outside the door?
Stiles: Lydia, who throws the best parties in Beacon Hills?
Lydia: [shrieks] What? Me, obviously!
Stiles: Okay, then throw a party!

Lydia: [to Demarco Montana] Okay, I didn't order a keg of beer. Especially not domestic.

Lydia: [looks at the bill] What's this extra $100?
Demarco Montana: That's the "Yes, you do look 21 to me"-surcharge.

[Stiles is sitting with Malia, who is chained up for the full moon. Her coyote-face is out, and she's struggling against her chains]

Stiles: Just breathe, okay? I'm not going to leave you.
Malia: What if I hurt you?
Stiles: You're not going to!
Malia: But I want to. Ugh! I look at your face, and I want to smash it! I want to tear it! I want to feel your bones crack between my hands!
Stiles: [unfazed] Surprisingly enough, you're not the first person to ever say something like that. I'm not leaving you, and I'm not going to let you hurt anyone.

Demarco Montana: Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, the truth.

[Scott leads Kira to the dock so they can slow dance]

Kira: [about Liam] What about him?
Scott': [smiles] He can dance with me next time!

Derek: You know, just because this guy connected to the school's WiFi, doesn't mean he's still here.
Sheriff Stilinski: True. but, I've seen enough in this school to keep my gun in hand whenever walking in after dark.

Stiles: [to Malia] I'm not going to run, because I don't think you're going to hurt me. And, I think maybe you're so afraid of hurting me because of what you did to your parents. I know what that's like. I remember everything that I did. And, the worst part is I remember liking it. Because I felt powerful. I felt fearless. And, most of all, in control. But, when I came through it, I learned something else-- Control is overrated.

Scott: [relieved] How did you know?
Chris Argent: I got your text.

[Peter has just killed the Mute in front of Derek and Sheriff, who are furious]

Derek: We've learned a better way!
Peter: I'm a creature of habit.

Argent: There's a clearing just north of here. All you have to do is corral him there. The rest is taken care of.
Scott: What are you going to do?
Argent: He's your beta, Scott. The better question is, what are you going to do?
Scott: [discouraged] He won't listen to me.
Argent: He will if you start using your own words.

Kira: Hey, Lydia? Are you okay? What do you hear?
Lydia: The key. The key to break the code.

Liam: They can't know about this. My mom, my step-dad... I can't do this to them again.
Scott: What do you mean, "again?"
Liam: I got kicked out of school. And, I deserved it. But, the way they looked at me when they saw what I did to that car... [Liam breaks down in tears]
Scott: [sad] Liam, it's okay--
Liam: They can't see me like this. Like... like...
Scott: [whispers] Like a monster? [Liam nods] You're not a monster. You're a werewolf. Like me.

[Lydia and Kira have just cracked the code, using the keyword ALLISON]

Kira: What is this?
Lydia: [shocked] It's a deadpool. And we're all on it.

I.E.D. [4.05]

Stiles: First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key.
Sheriff Stilinski: Wait. You mean, like, a... like a keyword?
Stiles: It's actually a name.
Scott: [gulps anxiously] "Allison."

[Kira is walking down the hallway and is only half-listening as her dad talks to her]

Ken: It's not that we were wanting to talk to you. It's that we were wondering if you wanted to talk to us.
Kira: About what?
Ken: About something that you forgot to mention? Something important?
Kira: [continues skimming her notes] How important?
Ken: Exceptionally.
Kira: [stops in her tracks] Oh, god. You know.
Ken: We know.
Kira: Look, I was going to tell you. We were going to tell you. Everything. About the deadpool, the assassins, the killings... but I didn't want you to worry!
Ken: [pulls out her jersey] I was talking about you joining the lacrosse team.
Kira: [grabs the jersey and turns the other way] Oh! Then, never mind!
Ken: [bewildered] Deadpool?

[Derek has just met Liam]

Scott: What are you smiling about?
Derek: [smiles wider] You're gonna be good at this.
Scott: Are you kidding? I am totally unprepared! Remember how you said you could teach me a few things? I think, right now, I could use a full-on training manual.
Derek: I'll tell you one thing-- that anger he's got? It'll make him strong.
Scott: [sighs] And dangerous.
Derek: [grins] Very!

Coach Finstock: [to Stiles] You know, Stilinski, if I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A+ student.

Kira: Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game cancelled?
Scott: The game's the best way to catch him red-handed.
Stiles But, what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death? Which, by the way, could be either of you guys.
Scott: Or Liam. Well, we don't have the whole list, and he could be on it.
Stiles: We don't know anything about that list! How it's made, how it's updated... I mean, who's been out taking a supernatural census, anyway?

Scott: I'm not afraid.
Kira: Neither am I.
Stiles: [incredulous] Well, I'm terrified, and I'm not even on the list! Guys, these are professional killers! It's their profession! One of them's got a thermo-cut wire that cuts heads off! Who knows what else they have?

Violet: I'm just saying, I don't know why we're going after a beta when there's an alpha on the field.
Garrett: Because an entire pack of alphas went after McCall, and he was the one left standing.

Lydia: Eichen House says Meredith can't have visitors without permission from a family member.
Malia: That's not gonna be easy, since her whole family is dead.
Lydia: Perfect.
Malia: Okay, maybe we go back to the art room? Or music room?
Lydia: I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours, waiting for some supernatural inspiration.
Malia: Fine. What else do banshees do?
Lydia: [frustrated] You think I know? I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys. I don't have claws, or glowing eyes, or super senses. I just have voices in my head.

Liam: I just wanted to say... have a good game.
Brett: [bursts out laughing with his friends] That's cute, Liam. Is that what they told you to say in anger management? Apologize, and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car.
Liam: [grits teeth] I paid for it.
Brett: Yeah, you're going to pay for it. We're gonna break you in half out there, and it's gonna be all your fault.

[Liam and Mason are standing together on the sidelines, talking. Mason is distracted by Brett taking his shirt off across the field]

Liam: I don't care if he's a foot taller than me. I think I can take him.
Mason: [not paying attention] Yeah...
Liam: [notices Mason's leering] What do you think you're doing?
Mason: What? Me? [scoffs] Agreeing with you! I'm being agreeable!
Liam: You think he's hot, don't you?
Mason: No! No. Not at all. No way! ...Maybe. Yeah, maybe a little.
Liam: [sighs] He wants to destroy me.
Mason: I think you could definitely take him... And then give him to me.

Derek: [about Kate] What are you going to do when you find her?
Argent: There's a place I can take her.
Derek: Are you saying you have some kind of werewolf-jail?
Argent: Something like that.

Derek: [about Kate] She won't go quietly.
Argent: I don't expect her to. And, I'll do what's necessary.
Derek: [sighs] What if I asked you not to? [Chris looks at him curiously as Derek's eyes flash gold] She took something from me. At first, I thought it was a part of my past. But then, I started to lose something else-- my sense of smell. [Derek's golden werewolf eyes fade away] I'm losing my power.

Kira: Why do I feel like this is going to end badly?
Stiles: Because it usually does.

Deputy Parrish: You called Lydia?
Sheriff: [nervous] ...Yeah...
Deputy Parrish: Because Meredith asked for her, or because of the other thing?
Sheriff: [confused] What other thing?
Deputy Parrish: [whispers] The psychic thing.
Sheriff: You think Lydia's psychic?
Deputy Parrish: Do you?
Sheriff: No, I do not. I think that she is, uh... intuitive.
Deputy Parrish: That's what they used to call psychics-- intuitionists!
Sheriff: [sighs and rolls his eyes] And I used to call myself a rational human being...

Stiles: [to a massive player on the other team] You guys know that anabolic steroids are illegal in the United States? You wear a lot of facial hair for a teenager. What are you on? Seriously! HGH? Gamma radiation?

[Araya and Severo break into Argent's armory, and Chris and Severo each have a handgun pointed at each other]

Araya: In Mexico, we just call this a standoff.

[Violet throws her thermo-wire garrote around Scott's neck and tries to strangle him]

Violet: [gleeful] He said we shouldn't try! But now, I've got you. I've got an alpha!

[Scott yanks the garrote away from her, grabs her in a choke-hold, and slams her head into the wall, knocking her out]

Orphaned [4.06]

[Kate listens to a man speak about the Hale family on a cassette tape that was left in her car]

Dr. Fenris: Eventually settling in a small town in Northern California, this family used their wealth to rebuild the community around them while remaining isolated from it. This was sometimes more a choice than a necessity, as not all of their children would become werewolves. The ones that did, these born wolves, had to be trained. They needed to learn control. They had a practice for the training of betas, a tradition passed down through generations that involved the use of a sacred object called a triskelion. Without control, violence-- extreme violence-- is inevitable.

Kate: Big fancy guns... Coded death lists... So-called assassins... And not one of you can answer the simplest question-- Who's paying the bills? So, I'll ask again-- Who is the Benefactor?
Assassin: I swear to God, I've never seen him, never spoken to him...
Kate: [sighs] I know. See, everybody says the same thing. They don't know who he is, where he is... [She mocks them] "It's all done electronically, I can't help you." "Please, I'm bleeding to death." "Please stop, it hurts!"
Assassin: Then, what do you want with me?
Kate: It's been a long time since someone's made me a mix tape. You got one, too, didn't you?
Assassin: No. No, but I--but I know who did. They look like kids. Like teenagers. They're called the Orphans.

[Stiles and Lydia have just shown Deputy Jordan Parrish the deadpool list with his name on it]

Jordan Parrish: Okay, that's kind of terrifying. What's the number?
Lydia: ...That's how much you're worth.
Parrish: [offended] I'm worth five dollars?!
Stiles: [holds up a hand] Five million.
Parrish: I only make 40,000 a year. Maybe I should kill myself.

[Brunski has just caught an orderly opening the door to Meredith's room at Eichen House for Deputy Parrish, Stiles, and Lydia]

Brunski: What the hell are we running here? A bed and breakfast? We do not just open the door for anyone with a badge.
Parrish: We need to talk to Meredith Walker. It involves a murder investigation.
Brunski: Well, you can talk to her all you want, but these two, especially that one [He points at Stiles]-- They're outta here.
Parrish: They're crucial witnesses in an ongoing investigation. I wouldn't have brought them here if it wasn't absolutely...crucial.

Brunski: Okay, Deputy. How about you come back with a court order, then I'll listen. As for you, Mr. Stilinski, how about you come back with payment in full? That's right, Daddy might be the Sheriff, but he's late on the bills. I guess those government jobs aren't as reliable as they used to be, huh?
Parrish: But, they do help when you need a favor. Like, how a month ago, Canaan P.D. helped you get home after blowing 0.1 on a breathalyzer.
Stiles: [mocks Brunski gleefully] No!
Brunski: [embarrassed] All right. I'm not against a little quid pro quo. Not at all. Not at all.
Stiles: [to Parrish] You. You, I like you! I'm gonna keep you!

Malia: I'm sorry.
Derek: There's nothing to be sorry about. If they don't want to be found, then we're not going to find them. Some werewolves have an ability, a kind of mastery over their bodies where they can actually inhibit their scent.
Malia: They can hide from other werewolves?
Derek: From anyone who's trying to find them.

Malia: Maybe we need to try something different. Maybe we need to think like Stiles.
Derek: Like a hyperactive spaz?

[Liam has a flashback to his first full moon]

Liam: I jumped through the window?
Scott: The cuts healed while you were changed.
Liam: I guess that's one good thing.
Scott: For you. For someone else, it could be really bad. We need to figure out how you can get a grip on this.
Liam: I've been trying to do that for years.
Scott: What does your dad say?
Liam: He says when kids get angry, they deal with it in one of two ways. They either hurt themselves, or they hurt someone else.

[Malia and Derek have just found nearly a dozen members of Satomi's pack dead in the woods]

Malia: What happened?
Derek: [horrified] I think they might have been poisoned.
Malia: That's great. If assassins with guns don't get you, then the ones with wolfsbane poison will. Or, maybe one with no mouth. Maybe we should all be running from Beacon Hills. Running for our lives. As fast as we can.

Stiles: Okay, well, we know one thing-- both of the first two keys, Allison and Aiden, they're both names of the dead. Right?
Lydia: But, we've already tried every other dead person's name we could think of. And, if you haven't noticed, there were a lot of tries.

Scott: I don't want to keep watching people die.
Argent: I'm not sure you have much choice about that.
Scott: Maybe I do.
Dr. Deaton: That's a lot of burden to carry, Scott.
Scott: I don't care. No one else dies. Everyone on that list, everyone on that deadpool... It doesn't matter if they're wendigos, or werewolves, or whatever. I'm gonna save everyone.

Kate: Stop pitching and just tell me what you want.
Peter: Obviously, we're in a position of mutually-assured destruction.
Kate: [smiles] Oh, I'm not so sure the scales are that balanced. [The berserkers growl behind her, scaring Peter]
Peter: ...Probably true. But, I know you want to get the family back together again. The return of the Argents to their glorious power. Am I right? But, you know, you can't go back unless you can exhibit absolute and total control. I can offer control. I can teach you.
Kate: So, you're willing to teach me in order to get what you want. Which is what?
Peter: Obviously, I want my money back.
Kate: Mmm, that's not it. Maybe part of it, but that's not all you want.
Peter: I need the money, yes. But, I'll admit, money only gets you so far. What I want is what I've always wanted... Power.

Weaponized [4.07]

[Scott and Stiles are listening to a cassette tape they found in Garrett's bag of money, which has instructions from the Benefactor]

Man on tape: After entering the IP address, you will be connected through a Darknet portal to an untraceable bank. Once logged in, enter your account number to receive wire transfers. The IP address will deactivate with each transfer. You will be assigned a new IP address if you choose to continue down the list. Remember, visual confirmation is always required for payment.

Scott: I don't understand any of this. Why would someone use all this money just to kill us?
Stiles: Someone wants you dead, dude. Badly.

[Stiles, Scott, Malia and Kira are about to take the PSATS]

Kira: Where's Lydia?
Stiles: She took it her freshman year.
Malia: Does that mean I could have taken it some other time?
Scott: Malia, you studied harder for this than any of us!
Malia: Doesn't mean I'm going to do good.
Stiles: "Well."
Malia: [confused] Well, what?
Stiles: It's "do well," not "good."
Malia: [panics] Oh, god!

Stiles: Bet they're thinking smallpox.
Simon/The Chemist: Not likely. Smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1979. We've only managed to completely eradicate two viruses in history. The other was rinderpest. It killed cows.
Stiles: So, we should be comforted by that, right?
Simon/The Chemist: Unless it's something worse.

[Dr. Deaton and Satomi are discussing the virus that has killed many members of her pack]

Deaton: How does it begin?
Satomi: With fever. Then, shifting becomes uncontrollable. Fangs, claws, even full, unwarranted transformations. We moved into the woods when that began. Then, it progressed faster and faster. They couldn't stand. But worse than that was this sudden blindness.
Deaton: [concerned] Total?
Satomi: They couldn't see a thing. From there, they had only a few minutes left.

[Melissa has just awakened Braeden so she can ask her and Derek questions about what killed Satomi's pack members]

Melissa: Braeden, look at me. You were shot, but you're in the hospital now, and you're fine. Do you understand? Good. Last night, you were in the woods, and you came across another pack? Do you know what happened to them?
Derek: I told you, they were poisoned.
Braeden: [shakes her head] No. No, they were infected. It was a virus designed to kill werewolves. And it did. It killed them all.

[Lydia is at the lake house with a box of Meredith's belongings from Eichen House. She tries to contact her with her banshee powers]

Lydia: All right, Meredith. I'm not sure how to do this. I'm not a psychic. And apparently, I'm not much of a banshee, either. But, I'm trying to help my friends. I don't know if you can hear me. Or, uh, what I'm supposed to ask you. But, if I have this thing, it's got to work some of the time. It's gotta help someone. Maybe what I really wanted to say was... I'm sorry. I wish I could have helped you. I'm sorry.

[Malia and Kira are waiting to get their blood drawn for testing]

Malia: Kira, do you ever get the feeling that Scott and Stiles aren't telling you everything?
Kira: [anxious] What do you mean?
Malia: Like, they hide stuff.
Kira: I think if they did, they'd probably have a good reason...
Malia: [sighs] Do you know what they're hiding in the bag under Scott's bed?
Kira: [awkward] What? No, I've never been under Scott's bed. Or in it. Just on it... wearing clothes.

Agent McCall: I heard smallpox. Any truth to that?
Sheriff Stilinski: You want my opinion? I don't think the Orphans were the only professional killers in Beacon Hills.

Malia: I know you think you're trying to protect me, but I can handle it. I know I'm on the list.
Stiles: [anxious] ...Yes.
Malia: So, how much?
Stiles: How much what?
Malia: How much am I worth?
Scott: ...Four million.

[Malia makes a face. Scott and Stiles look concerned]

Stiles: Are you okay?
Malia: Yeah. Scott's worth twenty-five, Kira, six. They'll take you guys out way before me!
Stiles: That's progress. That's progress.

Scott: [about Malia] We need to tell her the truth about Peter. She's going to see the rest of the deadpool eventually.
Stiles: Try to remember that Peter is the one name missing on that list. Which either makes him incredibly lucky or the Benefactor. If she finds out about him, she's going to go to him, you know she is. And then, he's going to twist his way into her head like he does with everyone, including us. We let him walk around like nothing ever happened, like he's one of the good guys, but Scott, he's not one of the good guys. If she finds out about him, she's gone, that's probably what he's waiting for. And then he wins, we lose.
Scott: We're already losing.

Stiles: I gotta leave for a few, okay?
Malia: Where are you going?
Stiles: Whatever's happening, it's worse for you guy. That means it's not just people getting sick, it's another assassin. [He sees that she's cold and covers her up with his jacket] Here.
Malia [sniffles] You're coming back, right?
Stiles: [smiles] Yeah. Yeah, I'd never leave you behind.

Braeden: What are you still doing here?
Derek: I'm protecting my investment. I've got a lot of money riding on you!

Sheriff Stilinski: Lydia... As all of this is still very new to me, and I don't know how it works, I still have to ask-- do you have any kind of... indication? Any kind of feeling about this? Is someone in there going to die?
Lydia: [scared] Yes. And it's not just a feeling.

[Stiles has just figured out that Coach originally got sick by touching an inkpad that was infected with the canine distemper virus when the Chemist arrives and points a gun at him]

Simon/The Chemist: I was wondering how that idiot got sick. I'm also wondering where your friends are. Since, in order to get paid by the Benefactor, I need to have proof that they're dead.
Stiles: [gets a dawning realization] Visual confirmation.

Simon/The Chemist: Still a bit feverish, Mr. Stilinski? But, you should know something-- the virus doesn't kill humans. You'll get better. So, don't you think you should tell me where they are? Shouldn't one of you get to live?
Stiles: I think I saw them in the library. Or, it might've been the cafeteria. It was definitely one of those two.
Simon/The Chemist: [aims his gun at Stiles] I'm going to count to three, and then I'm going to kill you.
Stiles: [furious] You think you can scare me?
Simon/The Chemist: No, I think I can kill you. I just thought the countdown would make it more exciting.

Satomi: I may have learned to control my anger, but I still know when to use it.

Time of Death [4.08]

[Agent McCall records his report after having to shoot and kill the Chemist]

Agent McCall: Preliminary notes on firearm discharge incident. Assailant armed with sound-suppressor-equipped Walther P88. Having heard the perpetrator's threat and countdown, I made visual confirmation of the barrel of the weapon pressed to the potential victim's head. Determining the danger to be imminent, I felt no other choice but to respond with the use of deadly force.

Agent McCall: [to Scott] One more thing... when I do come back, we have to talk about some stuff. You and your friends, the way you guys handle things? It doesn't seem to faze you like it should. It's like you guys know something I don't. When I come back, I'd like to be in the know.

Liam: Are we really doing this?
Scott: We're doing it. Tonight.
Liam: But, isn't it kind of dangerous?
Stiles: It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic.
Liam: Have you guys done something like this before?
Stiles: Something dangerous, or something idiotic?
Kira: [to Liam] I think it's a yes to both.
Scott: [to Liam] You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to.
Liam: I'm not scared.
Stiles: [winks] Then you're borderline idiotic!

[Braeden is peeking at Derek's bullet graze wound while he's asleep, which wakes him up]

Derek: What are you doing?
Braeden: Protecting my investment.

Liam: So, you've done this before, right?
Noshiko: I've seen it done.
Liam: [nervous] Is that just as good?
Noshiko: ...No.
Kira: Mom, you're not inspiring confidence!
Noshiko: Good! This is a terrible idea!

Scott: Hold on. What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?
Noshiko: It might feel like you're dreaming.
Scott: [anxious] Good dreams, or bad?
Noshiko: I suppose that depends on you.

[Stiles and Argent, who is pretending to be an assassin, have just sent the news of Scott's "death" to the Benefactor]

Stiles: That's your assassin speak?
Argent: I said he's dead. What more do you want?
Stiles: It was a little dry. You could have said something, like, "Target has been neutralized." "The crow flies at midnight," that's always cool.

Braeden: [to Derek] When you're a human facing off against the supernatural, you need to bend the rules a little bit. I'm gonna teach you how to bend.

[Scott is dreaming about being given a hitlist of assassins; the Mute, the Orphans, and the Chemist]

Scott: I can't do that. I can't kill them.
Liam: Someone has to.
Scott: Why me?
Liam: Because you're the alpha.
Scott: I'm not a murderer.
Liam: But you are a predator.
Scott: [struggles to find his words] No. We're predators, but we don't have to... We don't have to...

Melissa: [about their children] Why are we doing this? Why are we asking them to fight these kinds of fights?
Noshiko: Because, otherwise, we'd be asking them to run and hide.

Liam: [to Scott] Catch! That's why you're the Alpha.

[Scott is still dreaming]

Liam: There's something different, isn't there?
Scott: I've got more fangs. I noticed it during the quarantine. I don't know why.
Liam: Maybe it's part of being an alpha. Like you're becoming more of a werewolf.
Scott: Or more of a monster.
Liam: What if it makes you stronger? Why if it's like you're growing?
The Mute: Evolving.

[Braeden is teaching Derek to use weapons]

Braeden: This is a Sig Sauer P226 9mm.
Derek: I don't like guns.
Braeden: That's because you've never learned to use one.
Derek: ...Or, because I've been shot. Repeatedly.

Peter: You know what happens when you only hear one side of a story? You've only heard one side of the story.

Noshiko: I'm guessing the power doesn't go out often in this hospital.
Melissa: Only when under attack by supernatural creatures.

Malia: You murdered people. Not killed, murdered.
Peter: There were extenuating circumstances.
Malia: Like what? The fire?
Peter: A fire that nearly burned me alive. Six years in a coma. Do you know what it's like for one of us? It's not a pleasant sleep. Imagine it: being trapped in your body, but still being fully cognizant. Unable to do anything other than listen to your own thoughts slowly driving you absolutely and totally insane. Minute-by-minute, day-by-day. Yes, I've done horrible, terrible things. And so have a lot of people. And horrible, terrible things are going to keep happening. Especially when there's a deadpool with your name on it.
Malia: But not yours.
Peter: True. But, I am not the Benefactor. I'm just a guy who's out millions of dollars, a few thousand of which I used trying to help you.

Malia: What could you ever do for me?
Peter: Help you find your mother. I'm pretty interested myself, as the memory was stolen from me by my sister, Talia.
Malia: Okay. What did you find?
Peter: A woman. Might be her. I don't have a name yet, just a particularly interesting alias. She's called the Desert Wolf. Do you know what that means?
Malia: [surprised] Coyote.

Stiles: Hey. Where have you been?
Malia: Talking to Peter.
Stiles: [hesitates] Okay. You think that's a good idea?
Malia: If he can help me find my mother, I don't think I care.

Stiles: [about Peter] You might be related to him, but you're not like him.
Malia: Maybe I am. That night I caused the car crash...
Stiles: You mean when you were out of control on the full moon?
Malia: There's a part I didn't tell you about. Right before we got in the car, my mother-- my adoptive mother, I guess-- we got in a huge fight. I don't even remember what it was about, but I remember what I said.
Stiles: Malia...
Malia: [near tears] I said, "I wish you were dead."
Stiles: Killing doesn't run in a family.
Malia: Maybe it does in mine.

Kira: I just wish it had all worked. It was a good plan.
Scott: Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. And actually, I think maybe it did work. Not that I know exactly who the Benefactor is, but we might know a lot more about him now.
Kira: But no one came. And, no one got visual confirmation, right?
Scott: That's why it might have worked. Think about it-- who has the power to know when someone's dead, but doesn't need to see the body to know it happened?
Kira: [has a dawning realization] A banshee.

Perishable [4.09]

[Jordan Parrish has just come to Derek, Scott, and Lydia for help after Deputy Haigh tried to kill him by setting him on fire for the deadpool money]

Derek: [incredulous] He covered you in gasoline? [Parrish nods]
Lydia: It's the hair and nails, isn't it? The parts of the body that are essentially dead.
Derek: Well, the should be gone.
Parrish: I was set on fire. All of me should be gone.
Scott: Not if you're like us.

Parrish: Okay, hold on. What's a bestiary? Actually, that's not even my first question. Just--Just tell me one thing. Are all of you like Lydia? Are you all psychic?
Derek: [amused] Psychic?
Parrish: Yeah...
Scott: Not exactly.
Parrish: Okay, then what are you?
[Scott flashes his red eyes at Parrish]

Sheriff Stilinski: I keep things from you because you don't need to know everything.
Stiles: Yes, I do! I have to know everything. How the hell else am I supposed to take care of you?
Sheriff Stilinski: You're not supposed to take care of me! I'm the dad. You're the son. You get it? Dad. Son. I take care of you.
Stiles: [sad] We're supposed to take care of each other.

Parrish: [confused] What's a kanima?
Scott: ...We'll get back to that. Just know that everyone like us, everyone with some kind of supernatural ability, is on the deadpool.
Parrish: But I don't even know what I am.
Derek: I'm pretty sure they don't care.

[Lydia is telling Derek, Scott, and Parrish about her grandmother, Lorraine, her partner, Maddy, and her connection to Meredith]
Parrish: How did she die?
Lydia: How's not the story. It's what happened right before. My grandmother, Lorraine, used to work in San Francisco for IBM. She was there on a weekend, catching up on work. She started hearing this sound... like, rain. But, when she looked out the windows, all she saw was blue sky.
Scott: But she kept hearing the rain?
Lydia: And it just kept getting louder. Rain, and thunder, cracking like gunshots in her head. So loud, she finally just screamed.
Derek: Like a banshee.

Lydia: It took them four days to find Maddy's body. And then, it took decades to figure out how Lorraine knew. She started with parapsychologists, like the Ph.D in their name made it more scientific. They built the study in the lake house according to every pseudoscientific theory they could find. None of it worked. So, then, she started going to more extreme occult. Things like mediums, and psychics. All of them were failures... until she found Meredith. They found her in Eichen House. This fragile girl who didn't understand the things she heard. They brought her to the study, and they almost killed her. She was hospitalized for over a year. She... never really recovered. My grandmother drove her insane, and I drove her to suicide. And all she ever wanted to do was help. My grandmother created the code for the deadpool. They think she's the banshee who put the names on it in the first place. She left me this message in the same code.

Derek: Whatever Kate did to me, it's still happening.
Scott: If the deadpool really was made by a banshee, then there's something else that you should know about... Your name broke the third list. It was a cipher key.
Derek: ...And the two other keys were Allison and Aiden.
Scott: And, I... I don't want to make you nervous, but it kind of feels like there might be a pattern there, doesn't it? Allison. Aiden. ...You.
Derek: Names picked by a banshee.
Scott: It could mean that you're in danger.
Derek: [sympathetically] Scott, banshees don't predict danger. They predict death.

[Mason is convincing Liam to come to the bonfire]
Mason: You're coming! And, we're gonna find you a nice girl that you can embarrass yourself in front of, and find me a lacrosse player. Because statistically speaking, someone on your team has gotta be on my team, right?

Stiles: What do you remember doing with your grandmother? You know, what was your guys', like, special thing? Did you guys go to the beach? You know, did you like ice cream, or...
Lydia: ...We read.
Stiles: Okay, what did you read?
Lydia: The Little Mermaid.
Stiles: [confused] You read that movie?
Lydia: [annoyed] It was a book first!

Liam: Not gonna tell me to slow down?
Mason: Actually, I was gonna say, "Keep drinking." I think you should get drunk. And, I mean stumbling down, fall on your ass, passed out with your face in a toilet drunk.
Liam: [laughs] Why?
Mason: Maybe then, when I ask you what's going on, you'll be too drunk to lie. I'm not asking this because I want to know. I'm asking because I want to help.

[Braeden uses her U.S. Marshal badge to question Deputy Haigh on his attempted murder of Jordan Parrish]
Deputy Haigh: And who the hell are you?
Braeden: Hello, Deputy. I'm a U.S. Marshal working in conjunction with this office, and I'd like to ask you a few questions.
Deputy Haigh: Yeah, well, I got a question-- How'd you get those scars?
Braeden: [shrugs] A werewolf. How'd you break your nose?
Deputy Haigh: [confused] What's that supposed to--
[Braeden punches Haigh in the face]

[Brunski is playing the tape of Lorraine's murder to Lydia and Stiles, who are tied up]
Stiles: Lydia, look at me. Don't listen. Okay? Don't listen to it. Just focus on my voice, Lydia. Don't listen to it, block it out. Okay?

[Parrish has just saved Lydia from being killed by Brunski by shooting him]
Lydia: He--He killed my grandmother. He was controlling Meredith.
Stiles: He used her to create the deadpool.
Lydia: And killed her when she tried to help us.
Brunski: [coughs up blood] You...You think it was me? That I was controlling her? Idiots... She was controlling me.
Lydia: Oh, god. It's not him. He's not the Benefactor.
Meredith: [comes out of the shadows] No. And, he wasn't on my list. But, he was a bad person.

Monstrous [4.10]

Liam: I'm not like you.
Scott: [sympathetically] Not yet.
Liam: I don't mean I'm not strong, or I'm never gonna learn how to be in control. I mean everything else. You and your friends try to protect everyone. Have you been doing this the whole time? I mean, how are you still alive?
Scott: [sighs] Not all of us are.

[Sheriff Stilinski has just finished trying to interview Meredith and joins Lydia outside his office]
Lydia: What did she say?
Sheriff: Hard to tell. There were words. I'm not sure there were actual sentences.
Lydia: So, nothing.
Sheriff: I think we need a psychologist. Or a medium.
Lydia: Is she even competent enough to be charged with a crime?
Sheriff: If Meredith is the Benefactor, then that means she was competent enough to trick Kate into opening the Hale vault, competent enough to blackmail Brunski into helping her, and competent enough to create a hit list and pay out money for it's completion. This girl's practically a criminal mastermind.

[Malia has come to Stiles' hospital room to visit him]
Malia: I heard you almost got killed.
Stiles: I heard you almost got killed.
Malia: You okay?
Stiles: Brunski punched me in the face. Turns out, he was a serial killer.
Malia: [unfazed] Makes sense.

:Malia: [about Melissa] Why would she lock the door?

Stiles: Maybe she didn't mean to.
Malia: You don't just accidentally lock a door.
Stiles: Okay, well, maybe she wasn't thinking, exactly? Or wasn't thinking it through? You know, people sometimes do things without thinking them through.
Malia: Then she's stupid.
Stiles: No, even smart people can do stupid things! You know, 'cause they think that it's the right thing. And, I don't think we should hold it against her, you know, for the rest of her life! Especially because she's tried apologizing hundreds of times through texts and voicemails...

Malia: I don't have much practice in things like forgiveness. Some things I'm picking up fast. But other things are like...
Stiles: Like math?
Malia: [sighs] I hate math.
Stiles: You hate me?
Malia: I like you, Stiles. I like you a lot.
Stiles: [smiles] I can work with that.

Lydia: I think I'm getting an idea of how all this happened. You used Brunski, right? You knew he'd killed people, and that he would do it again. He used my grandmother's code for the deadpool. He put it online. He took the money from the Hale vault, then turned the bearer bonds into cash. He made the payments. Was it Brunski's idea to fake your death? Did he get nervous because you helped us with one of the cipher keys?
Meredith: I wanted to help.
Lydia: All you ever wanted to do was help. Is that why you're here? I know you wouldn't want to be here if you didn't want to talk.
Meredith: I do. But, only to one person.
Lydia: Who?
Meredith: Peter. Peter Hale.

Braeden: Scott, you heard anything from Stiles or Lydia yet?
Scott: Lydia's still talking to Meredith. Stiles and Malia are headed to the lake house. They're trying to stop it.
Brett: What if there is no stopping it? What if it doesn't end until we're all dead?
Derek: Then let's send a message. Let's make something perfectly clear to anyone with a copy of that list. It doesn't matter if they're professional assassins, hunters, or an amateur with a gun: anyone who thinks they can hunt and kill us for money is gonna be put on another list-- our list. They get to be a name on our deadpool.

Argent: "Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, the truth." What exactly does that mean?
Satomi: The truth cannot stay hidden.
Argent: I know what the saying means. What does it mean for you?
Satomi: The truth for me is that we-- my kind-- are violent creatures who eventually will not be able to control their violent impulses. The mantra helps us subdue our nature.
Argent: But, you're still violent creatures.
Satomi: Aren't we all?

[In flashback, Peter is telepathically ranting to Meredith, who is in the bed next to him at the hospital]
Peter: I predicted this. I told Talia this was going to happen. Something like this was going to happen. I said that they were gonna come for us. The Argents, they're gonna come for us. They are gonna burn us to the ground. Burn us to the ground. Did she listen? Of course not. Did anyone listen? They listened to her. Yes! She said that everything was going to be fine. That we were all perfectly safe. Perfectly safe. But she made us weak! She made us weak. And what happens to the weakest in the herd? They get picked off by the predators! We used to be the apex predators, until Talia turned us into sheep.

Peter: [ranting in flashback] But, I'll start over. Like a vengeful god, I will raze this earth to the ground. Raze this earth. I will take out all of them! Not just the wolves, but the wendigos, the banshees, every shapeshifter. I will obliterate the weak, and I will remake the supernatural of Beacon Hills in my image! I won't have to do any of it myself, because I'll hire people. Assassins. Professional killers. People like the Mute, the Chemist, even... someone like the Desert Wolf. I'll use the money in the vault, the bearer bonds. I'll use every penny if I have to. I'll start with the professionals, and then maybe I'll disseminate the list further. No. No, not a list. A deadpool. Eventually, everyone will want a chance. Anyone can become a killer for the right price, because when it comes down to it, everyone can be corrupted by money!

Sheriff Stilinski: She was listening to you.
Peter: She was listening to the ranting and raving of a lunatic. [He realizes he just insulted himself] A former lunatic. I'm much healthier now.

Peter: Lydia's right. We don't want to kill each other.
Sheriff Stilinski: The only person I'm pointing a gun at is you.
Peter: Then, you better make it a perfect shot, Sheriff, because I don't go down easy.
Sheriff: [cocks gun] I'm willing to bet that a bullet between the eyes doesn't heal real fast, even for your kind.
Lydia: Stop. Please, stop.
Peter: This department's getting more corrupted by the second. What are you gonna charge me with, Sheriff? How are you going to explain this to a judge? "Telepathic girl overhears thoughts of comatose werewolf and decides to enact his plans for retribution? Hmm. [He clicks his tongue] They're gonna be pointing a gun at your head and asking you to go quietly.

[Lydia is video-calling Stiles and Malia to figure out how to shut down the deadpool]
Stiles: Lydia, what the hell does wine have to do with anything?
Lydia: Red wine doesn't just disappear... Unless it wasn't wine.
Stiles: What? What do you mean?
Lydia: The ashes weren't ashes, the study isn't a study, the record player isn't a record player... So... So, maybe the wine wasn't wine.

Lydia: Are you okay? I guess you are, aren't you? For someone who'd put their own name on a hit list...
Meredith: I had to.
Lydia: Why?
Meredith: Because I heard you. I heard you scream in the tunnels at Oak Creek. [Lydia flashes back to when Allison was killed and she wailed for her death] That's why I knew it was the right time to start over.
Lydia: But with Peter?
Meredith: He's the alpha. He's always been the alpha. He'll make it right. It never was with us. Too many people die because of us. We're the monsters. Even banshees. Even me.
Lydia: [shakes her head] I don't believe that. Not all monsters do monstrous things.
Meredith: Like who?
Lydia: Like Scott.
Meredith: Like you.

Kate: You look nervous.
Peter: I'm not nervous. I'm rattled. I don't like being rattled.
Kate: But, it's over. The deadpool's done. And, if you need to be reminded, everything else is going exactly your way.
Peter: Not exactly my way.
Kate: [rolls her eyes] Maybe every little piece in your game didn't move just as predicted, but they still moved perfectly into place. [She notices his hesitance] You wanna bail on the plan.
Peter: Of course not. Not when I'm this close. Not when I'm this close to killing Scott McCall.

A Promise To The Dead [4.11]

[Patrick Clark, a wendigo, has just abducted a woman in a body bag and has brought her to his meat freezer, which is full of bloodied knives]
Patrick: It's Calissa, right? I guess you're coming to a certain conclusion-- you're not going to be leaving here. It's okay that you're scared. See, contrary to traditional culinary practices, it actually tastes better for someone like me when the kill's been frightened.

[Patrick has just surrendered to Dr. Deaton in a fight before he can kill Calissa]
Patrick: Okay, wait! Stop! The deadpool's over. You're not going to get paid! It's over.
Deaton: I'm not here to kill you, Patrick. I'm taking you back to Eichen House, where they know all about your "culinary practices."

Deaton: I was hoping we could talk. My name is Dr. Alan Deaton.
Dr. Valak: Oh, I know your specialty, Dr. Deaton, and I know it's not cats and dogs.
Deaton: I'm here because of what you know about South American mythology.
Dr. Valak: No. You want to know about Kate Argent. You want to know about La Loba, the Bone Woman.
Deaton: I need to know what she did to Derek Hale. And, if he's dying.
Dr. Valak: Why?
Deaton: Because of a promise I made to a woman I loved.

Melissa: Scott, you can save people's lives, but you cannot save them from life. Life is full of struggle.

[Scott has just returned the money he found in Garrett's locker to Derek]
Derek: [shrugs] Okay.
Scott: Don't you want to know why it took so long to return it?
Derek: How much do you make at the animal clinic?
Scott: ...Minimum wage.
Derek: That's why. Everyone can be tempted, Scott. Even a True Alpha.

Kira: It's over. The computers are off. No more assassins. No more murders. No one's dying.
Lydia: Not yet.

Scott: [to Liam] If you don't want to be with us, that's okay. But don't push your friends away, too.

[Kira and Scott plan on watching Star Wars]
Scott: So, this is the fourth one?
Kira: No, it's the first one, even though it says fourth.
Scott: Then, what's the first one?
Kira: The fourth one. [Scott looks confused] You know what? Forget the movie.

Mason: [to Liam] I know something's going on. I know you don't want to talk about it. But, you're still my best friend. And, um, considering the fact that the last good friend I made turned out to be a professional killer, I'm thinking that I don't have too many options for new ones. So, when you're ready to talk, talk. Until then, I know I can kick your ass at at least one of these games.

Scott: What do you want from us?
Kate: I want a little bit of insight, Scott.
Scott: [confused] To what?
Kate: My family. The Argent family has been around for over four hundred years. A powerful, wealthy, aristocratic family of werewolf hunters. But yet, somehow, in less than a year, this great family is decimated by a teenage boy. So, my question is simple-- what the hell is so special about Scott McCall?

Scott: You want me? Take me. Just me.
Kate: [smirks] No, we're all going. We're all going to church!

Peter: If you want to have a clandestine meeting, you need to choose a clandestine location.
Malia: After what happened with you and Meredith, I'm pretty sure I can do without any kind of one-on-one father-daughter time.

[Brett catches up with Liam in the locker room after the game]
Brett: You okay?
Liam: [bummed] We lost.
Brett: But you're okay, right?
Liam: [confused] Why'd you do that? Why'd you help me?
Brett: Because of Scott. He saved me. He saved all of us. Do you know how lucky you are?
Liam: What do you mean?
Brett: Scott's a True Alpha. That means he didn't get his power because he was born with it. He didn't get it by stealing or killing someone. He earned it. You're not strong because you can lift a lot of weight now. You're strong because you endure. Satomi calls it "strength of character." You're lucky to have him. [He leaves]
Liam: Then why isn't he here?

[Parrish is trying to save Argent from dying from his wounds after Peter impaled him and pinned him to a wall in the sewer]

Parrish: You know what you need? Adrenaline. There's two ways to get it-- fear, and anger. Since you don't look like a guy who's afraid of anything, you need to get angry. You need to get so angry that your brain lets loose every bit of adrenaline it has left.
Argent: [fading] I'm too tired to be angry.
Parrish: Okay, I don't know much about you, or what you've been through. But, Lydia told me some of it. And I know about Allison. I know how she felt about Scott. And, I think if she knew what was happening to him, she'd be pretty angry. At least angry enough to try one more time to get the hell out of here. So, whatever trigger you need-- if it's Allison, or your sister, or Peter-- use it. Use it right now!

[Kate has Scott bound on an altar in the basement of La Iglesia]
Kate: Tell me, Scott-- they ever teach you the myth of Artemis and Actaeon in school? No? I didn't think so. Well, Artemis was a goddess, and Actaeon was a hunter that happened to see Artemis bathing naked one day. This did not make the goddess too happy. In fact, she was so angry, Artemis turned Actaeon into a deer, and this sent his own hounds into a frenzy. He was actually torn apart by his own hunting dogs.
Scott: [scared] What are you doing?
Kate: Oh, I'm not gonna turn you into a deer! But, you are about to become something unrecognizable to your friends. They won't know what they're fighting. Or killing.

Smoke & Mirrors [4.12]

[Kate and her berserker have found Kira in the tomb of La Iglesia. Kira notices the armband tattoo on the berserker and realize that it's Scott]

Kira: What did you do to him?
Kate: How. That's--that's the better story. You see, when I first got away from the Calaveras, I had no idea where to go. But, something kept pulling me back here, to the temple of Tezcatlipoca. His name means "smoking mirror," and this placce is the temple of the smoking mirror. Obsidian. When I got here, I found the berserkers waiting for me. They helped me survive. I didn't know quite why until just recently. Until I decided to trust someone I never thought I'd trust. It was then that I found out I could not only control the berserkers, but I could create them. They call me La Loba, the Bone Woman. Did you know that Scott became an alpha without having to kill? He's been through quite a lot without ever having to kill. I think it's time to change that.

Stiles: Dad, Scott and Kira have been kidnapped and taken to Mexico, okay? I think that's a pretty good reason for a trip to Mexico!

Sheriff Stilinski: Even if Deaton is right about this, the best thing to do is to go through the proper channels. That means calling the right law enforcement agencies, border patrol, putting out an all-points--
Stiles: Dad, I can't just wait around for the wheels of bureaucracy to start spinning in five different government offices, okay? Someone needs to go down there right now, find them, and rescue them. I'm going!
Sheriff Stilinski: I can keep you from going.
Stiles: I'd find a way.
Sheriff Stilinski: I can throw you in a cell.
Stiles': I'd still find a way.
Sheriff Stilinski: Stiles, please. Just give me a little more time to verify something a little concrete than a psychic vision by some guy with a third eye!

Braeden: Do you really think you won't be coming back?
Derek: [sighs] Not alive.
Braeden: You know I'm not okay with that!
Derek: I am. If it saves Scott and Kira.

Peter: Killing a berserker is next to impossible. It's not just the firepower, it's breaking the animal spirit from the human.

Stiles: Oh, Liam, go home. You're not coming with us.
Liam: Why not?
Stiles: Because it's a full moon, and I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico, just to have you rip my throat out.
Liam: You can lock me up, right? Chain me down to the backseat or something?
Malia: You tore through the last chains, remember?
Stiles: Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonite to get you down there.
Liam: [shrugs] Okay, then where do we get carbonite?
Stiles: [appalled that he hasn't seen Star Wars] Seriously? You haven't seen it either?

Peter: Remember what we're dealing with. It's not just Kate, it's berserkers. You might see human eyes behind those skulls. Do not assume that there's any humanity left. [...] A reminder to everyone-- you do not fight berserkers to survive, you fight to kill.

Peter: You worried about Stiles?
Malia: I'm worried about everyone.
Peter: Do I need to be worried about you? We have to go through the berserkers to get to Kate. Then, we have to go through Kate to get to Scott and Kira. Trust me, it's going to get messy.
Malia: Scott says we don't kill people.
Peter: You think Scott would kill to save Kira? Would you kill to save Stiles?

[Kira, who has been stabbed in the chest, is fading fast and is crying in fear. Suddenly, she either has a hallucination of her mother, or her mother's spirit comes to comfort her]

Noshiko: It's all right to cry. It's no measure of your strength.
Kira: But I'm not strong. I need to get up. I need to tell them...
Noshiko: How do you know you can't?
Kira: Because I'm not healing. You told me why I never get sick. And, you said I'd learn to heal.
Noshiko: Then learn.
Kira: I can't. I don't know how, or where to start.
Noshiko: I told you once that foxes and wolves tend not to get along. But, they are similar creatures, aren't they? You've seen wolves heal. How do they do it? Kira, how do they trigger it?
Kira: [gasps] Pain. With pain.

[Derek and Stiles are trying to help Liam with his control when the full moon rises]

Derek: Liam, you with me? We have a mantra that we use. You repeat it, you focus on the words. It's like meditating.
Liam: [struggling] Okay, okay, okay! What are the words?
Derek: Okay, look at the triskelion. See the symbol? I have a tattoo on my back, it's the same thing. Each spiral means something.
Stiles: Alpha, beta, omega.
Derek: It represents the idea that we can always rise to one and fall back to another. [...] All you ave to do is say the three words, and with each one, you tell yourself you're getting calmer, more in control.

Peter: You're trying to stay in control?
Malia: Trying to stay human.
Peter: That's exactly your problem. Scott has you thinking that control and humanity are the same for us. Now, let me give you some fatherly advice. If you're gonna face something as animal as a berserker and try to win, you need to focus on the animal inside you. You'll need every ounce of ferocity and savagery you can muster. You'll need it.

Liam: [sighs in relief] I can't believe I did it. For a minute there, I thought I was gonna tear the two of you apart.
Stiles: Yeah, that would have made for an awkward ride home. So, thanks.

[Sheriff has just called Stiles before they go find Kate and the berserkers]

Stiles: Hi, Dad. Okay, Dad, I know you're angry--
Sheriff: [interrupts] Oh, I'm beyond angry. I've reached a level of fury that you could not possibly comprehend.
Stiles: [sighs] Okay, well, when I get back, you can ground me.
Sheriff: Ground you? Ground you? I'm going to hobble you!

[Braeden is checking on Derek after he was stabbed multiple times by a berserker]

Braeden: Can you still pull a trigger?
Derek: Yeah...
Braeden: Alright, stay with me. You're gonna be okay.
Derek: It's a mortal wound. And right now, I'm feeling pretty mortal.
Braeden: I'm not gonna let you die. [Intense growling is heard in the distance]
Derek: Eh, you might just have to concentrate on saving yourself.

[Lydia and Mason have found a collection of baseball bats in the school's basement, and Lydia has grabbed one to use as a weapon against the berserker]

Mason: Are you serious?
Lydia: Very.
Mason: A baseball bat? Against that guy? Or thing, or whatever it is?
Lydia: My friends are in trouble. And, so is Liam, your best friend. They need me. I'm going for it. [She turns toward the berserker and twists the bat in her hands] And yes, with a baseball bat.

[Berserker!Scott has Liam in a choke-hold and is about to stab him]

Liam: Scott! Scott! Listen! Listen! Listen! [He takes a deep breath] You're not a monster! You're a werewolf! Like me.

[Scott has just turned back into a werewolf with Liam's help, and glares at Peter in betrayal]

Scott: You. The only one who knew as much as Argent about berserkers. About the nahaul. You taught Kate. You helped her. All for power.
Peter: For my family's power. To be rightfully inherited by me. Not usurped by some idiot teenage boy. So incorruptible, he won't shed the blood of his enemies even when justified. You don't deserve your power. Not power like this.

Peter: You were my beta first, Scott. It was my bite that changed your life, and my bite that can end it.
Scott: Then end it, Peter. Because you won't get another chance.

Kate: [snarls] You're next, Araya! I'm coming to kill you next.
Araya: Come, La Loba. Let me show you how the Calaveras die.

[Derek, who has just been reborn as a full black wolf, attacks Kate in his wolf form before transforming back into human form. Kate looks at him in shock and fear]

Kate: You were... you were dead.
Derek: No. I was evolving. Something you'll never do.

Scott: You were never an alpha, Peter. But, you were always a monster.

[Argent has caught up with Kate in the tomb of La Iglesia. Both of them are seriously wounded]

Kate: You want to kill me, Chris?
Argent: No. But, I don't want to save you anymore, either. I don't know that you're worth saving.
Kate: [hurt] Just like when we were kids. Always trying to make me the bad guy. You can't see them clearly anymore, can you? Scott's not your little hero. None of 'em are! Not when they killed Allison.
Argent: [furious] Allison died. She died saving her friends. Who would you die for, hmmm?
Kate: [angry] You're not gonna kill me. And, you're not gonna catch me. Not you. Not Peter. And not the Calaveras

[Everyone is regrouping outside of La Iglesia after the battle is over]

Argent: There's enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out for the trip back. But, be careful.
Scott: [looks at the Calaveras standing behind Argent] You're really going with them?
Argent: I made a deal with the Calaveras weeks ago. They'll leave you alone. All of you. But, only if I help them catch Kate.
Kira: What if you can't?
Argent: I'll find her. Someone has to.

Derek: So, you're not really a U.S. Marshal, are you?
Braeden: I was. But, I spent too long looking for one person. It's hard to keep a job when part of it becomes an obsession.
Derek: Who were you after?
Braeden: All I know is a code name-- the Desert Wolf.

[Noshiko and Kira are meeting in Ken's office. Noshiko hands her daughter a small parcel, which she opens to find a small, black shuriken throwing star]

Noshiko: That shard of obsidian that you brought back, Kira-- there's a reason you kept it. And, a reason your father took the liberty of making an alteration to it. Do you know what it is?
Kira: [shocked] A tail.
Noshiko: [smiles proudly] Your first.

[Liam, Scott, and Stiles are trying to explain their extended absence to Coach Finstock]

Liam: [nervous] Then, Stiles said that Scott and Kira were stuck in Mexico, which is why they missed the game. Uh, so we went down to Mexico to drive them back from Mexico, and that's why we all missed practice. [Coach glares at him] ...'Cause... we were all in Mexico.
Coach Finstock: [to Scott] You took Kira on a date to Mexico?
Scott: [awkward] ...It was our first real date?
Coach Finstock: In Mexico?
Stiles: They wanted to do something special!
Coach Finstock: Okay. I believe you.
Liam: [relieved] Really?
Coach Finstock: Absolutely not. But, I've had experiences south of the border that would knock the genitals off you boys.

Coach Finstock: [to Scott and Stiles about Liam] Still, let me be clear to you two. This kids the best talent I've seen in years. So, he's your responsibility now. You boys are gonna stick together. You're gonna look out for each other. And, you're gonna have each other's backs. You got it?
Scott: [smiles at Liam, who smiles back at him] We got it.

[Lydia visits Jordan Parrish at the Sheriff's station, where she lays a brown leather-bound book on his desk]

Lydia: This used to be on a hard drive, but we eventually decided it might be a good idea to have a hard copy around. So, we put it in a book.
Parrish: [confused] What is it?
Lydia: It's called the Bestiary. Whatever you are, it might be in here. I'd like to help you figure it out.
