  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Spiller. Though a very important character in the books, he's nevertheless a secondary one, and doesn't even appear in the first book. Just about all the adaptations include him anyway, even the Studio Ghibli film.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The film not only includes Draco Malfoy, but also Horace Slughorn and Arthur Weasley. And Tom Felton's character has an enemy with the last name "Potter".
    • House shows up as a polite police officer and we get to hear the ultimate Dr. Jerk say "courtesy is the glue that holds society together."
