Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | The Butterfly Kid is a Science Fiction novel written by Chester Anderson and published in 1967; it has been described by one reviewer as "a science-fiction novel, a detective story, and a comedy of manners (or lack thereof) that depicts Greenwich Village undergoing a psychedelic sneak attack of unknown origin". It is most commonly referred to as "psychedelic SF", and as such actually was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1968 (it lost out to Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny). |
