The Cardinal's Blades (Les Lames du Cardinal) is a 2007 fantasy novel by Pierre Pevel, set in seventeenth century France. It is the first novel in a trilogy of the same name, followed by The Alchemist in the Shadows (L'Alchimiste des ombres, 2009) and The Dragon Arcana (Le Dragon des Arcanes, 2010)
