  • Mary Sue - Has managed to apply to boards, of all things. If one considers the fanbase/works published levels, a few sections would fit comfortably in Anime/Manga or Games.
    • More specifically, a certain series was added to the list of categories later on despite not being as vital to the fans as many other, bigger fanbases in the board.
      • For explanation, TFF has several boards devoted to certain fandoms. Fandoms such as Naruto, Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, etc. have their own specific subforums while most other anime have to be content with Anime/Manga Fanfiction.
        • Said series' subforum used to have more traffic than some of the older fanbases, like Ah! My Goddess [which it was not posted in for a while]. It wasn't until after the move that it was returned into the Anime/Manga fold.
  • Ship-to-Ship Combat - Naruto section. NaruHina vs... well pretty much every other pairing.
  • Snark Bait - Plenty of these, ranging from MST style threads to the infamous 'Stories you wish you can destroy' thread.
