These things about The Girl in the Library: Until The Pure You Falls From Grace are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Accidental Aesop: This may not have been intentional since it's just an rape/NTR hentai but in chapter six, Takamine is still determined to save Yukiha from being a sex slave despite the fact her former student helped Masami in getting her raped and is shocked when Yukiha kisses Masami despite Takimine's best efforts to save her. You can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.
    • You can also argue that what happens to Takimine during chapters/episodes five and six could be a lesson in staying out of other people's business as she annoyed both Aida and Yukiha's families with her constant visits and caused the school to receive complaints and made her a target of Masami.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Masami crosses it when when he drugs and rapes Yukiha, a high school student, while taping it and using it to blackmail her into being his sex slave. And this was the first chapter/episode. And this is also after she saves his job after he's accused of breaking a vase.
    • Yukiha after being corrupted by Masami gains 3 possible MEHs of her own, destroying any and all sympathy she might have gotten for being a rape victim.
      • The first is when she chooses her own rapist over Aida and mocked his small penis while she had sex with Masami on Aida's phone, making him watch. This not only breaks Aida's heart, but puts him through a mental breakdown he's still suffering from six months later. This is the most obvious one because even Yukiha knew that once she entered Masami's house, there'd be no going back and even Masami pointed it out for her and gave her once chance to escape.
      • The second is when she shows no concern for the wellbeing of her unborn child who Masami plans to rape if it's a girl and abort if it's a boy.
      • The third occurs in Chapter 5, where she assists Masami in raping her teacher Takamine, who was the only person left that was concerned over her disappearance.
  • Squick: It's a rape hentai that becomes a Netorare where the girl chooses her own rapist over the boy who loves her. Also the rapist is an ugly bastard in his 50s while the girl is a high school student.
  • The Woobie: Aida. His heart shatters when he sees the girl he loves willingly have sex with her own rapist while mocking him. The last time he's seen, he's still suffering from it and driven insane. Even worse, Yukiha forgets he even existed and would have likely shown no remorse if she found out what she did.
    • Takamine ends up being a sex slave just like Yukiha, but unlike Yukiha who becomes a sex slave of her own free will, Takamine becomes one because the shock of Yukiha kissing Masami after freeing her makes Takamine give in to despair. The porno she ends up in likely ruins her teaching career as well.
    • Yukiha and Masami's baby. Not even born yet and Masami already has plans to make it another sex slave if it's a girl or abort it if it's a boy and Yukiha doesn't give a damn at all because she cares more about being pleasured by Masami than anything. No matter the gender, the baby's in a lose-lose situation because of two rotten human beings.
  • They Just Didn't Care: The anime version has such poor animation that all it really is was taking scenes from the manga and just making GIF animations of them. In most scenes, Yukiha's hair stays perfectly still while her boobs juggle.
  • Took the Bad Film Seriously: The anime version is infamous for its very low-budget quality (despite being made by Pink Pineapple, it's been compared to Queen Bee) and yet the VA work is pretty believable.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Ame Arare said she would understand if people couldn't umm... "enjoy" this hentai of hers because people felt sorry for the girls. Takamine is understandable. She's an idiot but didn't deserve what she got in the end. But Yukiha went to her own rapist's house of her own free will for sex, broke her boyfriend's heart and drove him insane, doesn't give a damn what Masami will do to their unborn child, helped raped her own teacher and overall doesn't give a crap she basically destroyed her own life. Why would anyone have any sympathy for her?
