The Invisible Man (novel)/Nightmare Fuel

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • H.G. Wells was pretty tame honestly, but his story pretty set the starting bar for the sorts of evil complete invisibility allows, and worse, what you could potentially do. While his invisible man was generally restricted to assaulting people and inflicting as much terror as he could due to his own madness, his story leaves the world with a terrifying preview of all the horror someone could get away with if they had this power.
