  • Game Breaker: The Rod of Kings, especially when compared to it's counterpart, the Sword of Heroes. The Sword of Heroes lets the bearer understand various languages common in ancient Dhakaann, kills aberrations with ease, and inspires people when the bearer does something...inspiring. The Rod of Kings grants the bearer complete control over an unlimited number of people, for an unlimited amount of time, with apparently no limit to how often you can use this ability. However, the author clearly realizes this, and the entire trilogy is basically about the characters working around that.
