  • Crosses the Line Twice: Inverted. It starts out pretty funny but eventually (around Season 2) Ozzy becomes so drugged up that it just becomes sad to watch.
    • Ozzy gets off drugs for Season 3 and everything is happy again but by then the show just isn't funny anymore.
  • Follow the Leader: Several rockstar shows came after this.
  • Nausea Fuel: The show is famous for its uncensored showings of the family dogs and cats shitting, pissing and puking and it becomes the central topic of more than one episode. On the DVD Commentary Jack and Sharon express confusion as to why a dog shitting is a-ok for TV but someone's ass crack isn't.
