The Strangerverse is the name given to a collection of various Alternate History stories in AlternateHistory.com. One common element in all of these timeline are the interference of "The Stranger" -- hence the name of the verse. The Stranger came from the year 2258 and travels back in time to prevent a war that will destroy the world. The Stranger would come in at various points in history and appeared to various historical figures. He would usually bring in advanced technologies (which varies depending on the timeline) and give it to said historical figure. In practice, the timeline tends to be a self-contained world in and of itself.

The whole thing started out with the creation of United States of Ameriwank. Soon, various spinoffs were made and thus the Strangerverse was born.
