Teppei Sasaki is an aspiring [[mangaka]] who is trying to get his manga published in the ''[[Shonen Jump|Weekly Shonen Jump]]''. The problem is how his editor, Kisuke, keeps on rejecting his one-shots. After getting a second chance, the editor states his storyboard to be lacking, thus crushing his dream of having his story in ''Shonen Jump''. He walks onto the street in melancholy and frustration as rain starts to pour, leaving Teppei low and wet until he collapses in despair when he reaches his apartment.
