  • Tony not being immediately recognisable has become something of an In-Joke in skateboarder circles, as apparently people are at least vaguely aware of Hawk but have next to no idea about what he looks like up close, and thus Tony struggles to introduce himself in front of immigration officers at airports who would ask for his name. Filipino skateboarder Margie Didal was also into the gag, but Tony had to fill others into it when some were apparently confused by Margie's memetic reference.
