I just undid your undoing of the recent anonymous edit to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS/YMMV

First, that was a perfectly good example of Complete Monster. If the anonymous editor hadn't added it, I would have.

Second, it was on a YMMV page. Expect to see things that you disagree with on a YMMV page. "YMMV" stands for "Your Mileage May Vary" - there will be things that we don't agree with on YMMV pages, but they stay on the pages.

And I'm calling you out on this in public as per the Policy for Wiki Staff. We're both admins - we're supposed to know better than to do this sort of thing.

Apologies for deleting that Quatro entry - I actually didn't read it before I made the edit to delete it, since I'd assumed it was a restoration of an old poorly written entry for the character. I now looked at it and it's a valid writeup for a YMMV entry of the trope.

However, Your Mileage May Vary is not something to be abused. If someone added something that was either completely untrue and at odds with what was actually there in the canon text of a work, or instances of Square Peg, Round Trope, then it doesn't belong on any page, even a YMMV, no matter how much the person may argue "you don't have to agree with it, but it's what I think and Your Mileage Mary Vary!" I'm not saying that the Quatro entry was a case of that, but I am pointing out that not everything that goes on YMMV has to stay there. If a written entry out of touch wth it's subject matter and the trope it's claiming to be, it should be and will be removed.

"I actually didn't read it before I made the edit to delete it"

Oh, dear.

Again, we're both admins - we're supposed to know better than to do that sort of thing.

Apologies again. I will try to avoid that in the future.
