Might I suggest that if you want to know what a trope is or means, you read the page? Without the proper context almost all of our more evocative trope names "tell you fucking nothing about what it means". If you've never heard Anton Chekhov's famous quote about preparing for your plot developments, would Chekhov's Gun mean anything to you? If you'd never seen the episode "Mirror, Mirror" of Star Trek: The Original Series, would Beard of Evil make any sense? I'm wondering what it is about this one that prompts such a profane complaint.
