Set in the near future, Vanguard Ace: Vertical Madness is your typical 1997 vertical shooter similar to games like Raptor and Xenon. The earth is being invaded by a bunch of aliens called "Visitors" and it's up to you to stop them.
Players will be able to choose from 5 different ship types. Each of them have different abilities and weakness. Vanguard Ace boasts a number of features like 70FPS of animation, multi-layered parallax scrolling, rendered graphics, mecha style sprite designs and a bounty of power-ups in this Japanese anime-styled universe.
