  • Adaptation Displacement - Not many viewers are aware the live-action films are based on a Manhua.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight - In the climatic fight between Hung Hing and Tung Sing in Y&D3, Ho Nam turns a butcher knife to Crow, only for him to push his henchman Tiger to the blade. Tiger's portrayed by Frankie Ng, who was Uncle Bee, Ho Nam's boss in the first movie.
  • Moral Event Horizon - Crow killing Smartie in cold-blood as a helpless Ho Nam looks on.
  • What an Idiot! - Yeesh, Fat Lai: if only you didn't interfere in Ho Nam and Yiu Yeung's fight in Y&D4, you wouldn't be exiled to Albania. Note that as improbable as it is for Yiu Yeung to win, it's more unlikely that Chairman Chiang would've let him go, especially when it's a Tung Sung member.
