  • The Woobie:The widow. She has her thrown cut for the crime of someone committing suicide over her. Her body is abandoned on the street and the crime never persecuted. The villagers still hate her. Only Basil, Zorba, and Mimithos (Sotiris Moustakas) the village idiot, mourn for her.
