  • Subverted with the Revolution sequence. Jude bravely barges in to confront the subversive protest organization Lucy works for, as it is (for various reasons) interfering with his relationship with her. The viewer has to respect him, but he is completely unsuccessful -- he alienates all present and is escorted out repeatedly.
    • But he makes up for it later when he charges the riot police to try and get to her.
