  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Lots. The final one's a doozy.
  • Epileptic Trees: Wasn't the artificial womb containing Ai and Ikuru's child destroyed in the attack? So how did the child manage to survive?
  • Moe: Ai, to the point that you will wish that you had an Ai-Ren like her.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Most of the chapters showing How We Got Here, combined with epic-level HITO Mind Screw.
  • Tear Jerker: A particularly poignant one is Ikuru almost dying.
