Alan Thicke was a Canadian actor, writer, producer and composer.
Aside from his most famous role as Dr. Jason Seaver in Growing Pains, a Sitcom which ran from 1985-1992, he had composed many Game Show Theme Songs, most notably the original theme to Wheel of Fortune.
