- Critical Dissonance / True Art Is Not Popular: While many moviegoers might think otherwise, many film historians and critics agree that Annie Hall deserved the win. This is also true for the legacies of these two titles. Annie Hall isn't as well known but it is well acclaimed across many hardcore moviegoers and critics. Star Wars meanwhile, has become a franchise and pop-culture juggernaut, but gets It's Popular, Now It Sucks cries, especially when the prequels came out.
