- Cult Classic: Apparently. It flopped when it came out, critics panned it, and fans of Rick Moranis either Love It or Hate It. However, there are some people that actually like this movie.
- Spiritual Successor: To Little Giants.
- What they have in common:
- Both movies are from Warner Bros.
- Moranis in the lead role
- Begins with a flashback to his character as a kid
- Said character to have wife leave him for unknown reasons and has a crush on a female childhood friend
- Differences:
- It's not a sports movie

- David Leary is an only child and isn't exactly as optimistic as Danny O'Shea
