Stories about his immense appetite were a trademark element of the late John Pinette's standup act. One of his shows was called I'm Starvin', and another Still Hungry. One of his stories (which had been part of his act since the 1980s) recounted the time he went to an all-you-can eat Chinese buffet... only to be thrown out by the owner after several hours.
