Vinegar Syndrome is an American home video distribution company focused on protecting and preserving genre films, including exploitation, horror and action. They started off in 2012 by restoring and distributing old X-rated films previously lost. Think of them as The Criterion Collection, but way more sleazy.
Oddly enough, Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song was released on home video by both Criterion and Vinegar Syndrome in separate editions.
