- Name That Unfolds Like Lotus Blossom: Playing on the widely-held notion that Native American tribes name children after the first thing the father sees upon leaving the hogan, Hawk-That-Settles' father is named Two-Dogs-Dying and mention is made of Three-Cars-Bumper-To-Bumper, Broken-Telephone-Booth and Maniak-Corpse-Rotting. Hawk's dad was determined that his son wouldn't have such a name. No one else saw the hawk Two-Dogs claims he did, but everyone went along with it.
