Darling in the Franxx/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

These things about Darling in the Franxx are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Breakout Character: Zero-Two. Oh, my Lord, Zero-Two. Over half a decade from the finale of FranXX and people still put her on profile pictures. Her sexy looks and a very likable, bubbly personality that's essentially a modernized version of Lum effectively set the standards for "perfect seasonal waifu" that still haven't quite been matched since.
  • What Do You Mean It's Not Political?: Critics accused the series of having a right-wing bias for supposedly promoting maternity and childcare, and women and men needing each other to fight being supposedly a metaphor for enforcing heterosexualism. Also, the main antagonists seek to dissolve hatred by assimilating all species on one single organism, that critics called it an attack on multi-culturalism.
