Dead Snow/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Complete Monster: Subverted...kinda, while there's no doubt they were when they were just Nazis. Their zombie counterparts on the other hand are more arguable. They keep basic animalistic grunts and roars common with other zombies, however they're also are capable of thought, speech and fight very much like they would've in life, made all the more clearer by the end. Makes you wonder if other than the obvious if anything's changed at all.
    • Herzog, the nazi official, definetly deserves this trope. In life he tortured and abused the local populace, to such a degree that his cruelty became the grim stuff of legend for the area. As a zombie he's not much better.
  • Spiritual Licensee: This might as well be Nazi Zombies: The Movie...in Norwegian.
  • Too Cool to Live: Vegard.
  • What an Idiot!: The man who delivers the exposition just flat out tells them about the Nazis and that they should be very careful - which the students of course scoff at. Perhaps a better plan would have been to say that an unusual number of people had gone missing. The fact that he then camps out in the selfsame area...
    • Presumably the above-mentioned emergency call would have gone better if they'd just said they were being attacked by a gang of crazies.
