  • Anticlimax Boss: Satan can be beaten in less than 25 seconds if you have the axe weapon and know how to position yourself. Even without taking that into account, his boss fight is more "annoyingly long" than difficult.
  • Awesome Music: Surprisingly, the game's soundtrack is full of great and atmospheric music. Notable ones include The Envy and The Lost Village soundtrack.
  • Nightmare Fuel: You BET! Many of the brutal deaths Angelica suffers are so brutal that it can surpass even Mortal Kombat in Gorn Levels
  • Squick: Again, Angelica's deaths are NOT for the sensitive. Special mention goes to the the eye-poking minigame on the Hell Gate and the Blood Suckers on the Gluttony stage.
