  • Fake Nationality: Somewhat subverted, as many characters actually are German immigrants to the US. But obviously Lex Barker, Pierre Brice, and the Yugoslavian extras playing the Indians.
  • Hey, It's That Guy!: The Colonel is played by Inspector Dreyfus; incidentally, Czech-born Herbert Lom spoke German fluently and did not have to be dubbed. Also, Karin Dor went on to star in You Only Live Twice and Topaz and Ralf Wolter in One, Two, Three. Karin Dor stars as a completely different character in Winnetou II.
