Actor Allusion: Nigel Planer definitely plays Worb as one to Neil from The Young Ones.

Development Gag: Lewton mentions that he was going to be an assassin, but it didn't work out. The early idea for the game was the further adventures of Teppic from Pyramids, an assassin.
Hey, It's That Voice!: Robert Llwellyn, of Red Dwarf and Scrapheap Challenge fame, voices Horst, Leonard and a Palace Guard among others, while Nigel Planer from The Magic Roundabout does most of the others. Lewton and Nobby are (apparently) Rob Brydon.
- Never mind The Magic Roundabout; Planer definitely plays Worb as an Actor Allusion to Neil from The Young Ones.
