• Marth Debuted in Smash Bros: The main characters from this game have made their western debut as cameos in Dragon Quest IX.
  • Terry first came to USA in 2000 thanks to Dragon Warrior Monsters. Since the Nintendo DS version of this game was released in February 2011, it's just over 10 years. Happy Anniversary!
• Network to the Rescue: Again, Nintendo ended up taking the localization rights to this game, And the Fandom Rejoiced.
• Preorder Bonus: For the US DS release, GameStop offered a plush Slime with reservation.
• Remade for the Export: The Nintendo DS remake was announced for an international release around the same time as the remakes of IV and V on the same system were and were the first time the game was released at all outside of Japan.
