El Barco/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Crowning Moment of Funny: Ramiro, Julián and Gamboa dressed as the Three Wise Men. Gamboa's face is darkened, as he is Balthasar.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Piti is trying to find a cabin so that Vilma can live there with him, but the only free one is Cabin No. 31, which several years before had held the infirmary and, after a Spanish Flu break appeared, all ill people were bricked in to prevent a epidemic. Piti gets his friends to give him a hand in cleaning and takes care of the rest... and the end result is a wonderful room (painted in black, unfortunately, but he takes advantage of it and puts several silver stars on the wall) that leaves Vilma impressed... and wanting to reward Piti for the effort. Unfortunately, when Piti tells Vilma the truth, she is less than impressed.
    • In the end, the two of them start sleeping together in the room.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Imagine that you are on a ship with a group of strangers and suddenly you are told nearly everything you know has disappeared. Including your family, your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse and your friends. Sweet dreams.
  • Shipping: The series has hardly started and there are already two "official couples", Ricardo/Julia and Ulises/Ainhoa. There is also some teasing for several other couples.
    • Taking off right now: Ramiro/Estela, Piti/Vilma, Andrés/Vilma, Gamboa/Ainhoa...
    • As of now, Piti/Vilma is going really strong, Andrés still likes Vilma but knows he doesn't have many chances and Gamboa/Ainhoa has been sunk forever.
  • What an Idiot!: what most think of Ainhoa for having a relationship with the man that tried to kill her father.
    • Ainhoa is more idiotic now: she tells Ulises that she likes him, but then Gamboa threatens her with killing Ulises and her family if she doesn't leave Ulises. She complies. Instead of, you know, telling her father - the CAPTAIN - that Gamboa is threatening her and thus get Gamboa jailed or sent away.
