Adamantoise

A level 99 superboss who has nothing to do with the overall plot. It's also so gigantic that it can cause earthquakes, so the party have to get rid of him.

  • Non-Malicious Monster: It has no ill intent, but the party must kill it anyway because of the disturbance it causes.
  • Marathon Boss: If you're exceptionally good, the fight will last 30 minutes. If you're not, it will last an hour.
  • Optional Boss: He is fought as part of a side quest, one which you can only unlock after finishing the game.
  • Stationary Boss: He does move, and those moves do damage, but he stays on the same place.
