  • When Bruce smells Dory's blood.
  • The barracuda that kills Marlin's family in the beginning.
    • The barracuda just hanging there in the water silently waiting to strike was pretty terrifying too. If you know anything about them they're basically torpedoes with razor-sharp teeth.
  • That scene with the anglerfish.
    • "Good feelings gone."
      • It is scary enough to look at with all those teeth, but it's also a particularly aggressive hunter, especially after Martin. Later Played for Laughs considering how distracted and bubbleheaded Dory is acting, fully oblivious to how close to danger Martin is as she tries to read the address on the diver's goggles in the ravine.
  • The jellyfish.
  • Any shot of the sea when it isn't bright and friendly is pretty scary, especially to aquaphobics. Take Bruce's den with the "balloons", for example.
  • Rage-mode Bruce is TERRIFYING. And his entrance isn't much better; the first we see of him is a load of massive sharp teeth.
  • That scene at the end where they are in the fishing grounds. Just the cries and screams of dismay as the crowds of fish try to swim away from the net. and then knowing that they are going to be hauled up and die of suffocation. or worse, imagine if you were one of the fish that wasn't in the net but someone you knew or loved was.
