Doing Her Nails -- A female character turns all her apparent attention to filing her nails as a way of expressing disdain or boredom with her current company or situation.

Not to my knowledge. Also, since it's a gender neutral trope (males can pantomime the nail filing motion to express the same emotion), I'd suggest the name: Filing Their Nails if you want to create the trope. GethN7 (talk) 19:34, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
