Gamechap:"I say, what ho chaps and chappettes! Gamechap and Bertie Here!"
Bertie:"Yes!"

"Gamechap and Bertie" is a YouTube series of videos dedicated to reviewing mods for Minecraft and Skyrim, starring the titular characters Gamechap and Bertie. Their channel also features a couple Let's Plays and news regarding Minecraft updates. What makes them stand out from most reviews are their over-the-top British Accents and cartoonish British personas, and the fact that at the end of every video something goes horribly wrong, typically involving things getting blown up, set on fire, or sudden chicken attacks.

Their channel can be found here.

Tropes used in GameChap and Bertie include:

  • Catch Phrase: "I say!"
  • Negative Continuity: In every episode set at Gamechap and Bertie's home, their house has been burned down, blown up, sucked into black holes, hit by meteors, demolished by mining robots, infested with cows, and so on. It always turns out fine the next episode.
  • Quintessential British Gentleman: Both Gamechap and Bertie.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: In almost every episode. It's Bertie's M.O. and the source of most of Gamechap's frustration.
  • Weapon of Choice: Gamechap always carries his "Golden Sword of Justice" in Minecraft, substituting it with an Elven sword in Skyrim. Bertie prefers weilding a golden melon slice most of the time, though he prefers using TNT (much to Gamechap's dismay).
