Covered Up: "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses," originally by U2. It's saying a lot that their cover is even listenable; many U2 covers are not.
Ear Worm: Let's see... from the singles alone we have: "Queer", "Vow", "Stupid Girl", "Milk", "Only Happy When It Rains", "#1 Crush", "Why Do You love Me" "Subhuman", "I Think I'm Paranoid", "Push It", "When I Grow Up", "You Look So Fine", the theme for The World Is Not Enough, "Androgyny", "Cherry Lips", "Bleed Like Me", "Sex Is Not The Enemy", "Blood For Poppies" and... yeah, I'll stop now.
- Appropriately, Absolute Garbage is 100% Ear Worm. Seriously, every single track on the album can and will get stuck in your head.
Epic Riff: The My Bloody Valentine-sounding "Supervixen" and the singles, for starters.
Face of the Band: Shirley Manson. At least Butch Vig is well-known as a producer.
Fan Community Nickname: Shirley refers to her fans as "darklings" on her Facebook page.
Fandom Rivalry: With Curve. Mostly one-sided, with a lot of Garbage hate coming from the Curve camp, but not the other way around.
Hilarious in Hindsight: The video for "The World Is Not Enough" features an android that looks exactly like Shirley Manson killing the real Shirley Manson before taking her place and blowing up a concert hall. Then Shirley Manson started playing a Terminator...
