  • Memetic Molester: Kratos never commits any kind of implied or explicit rape, and never shows any interest towards men, much less boys, but it's common to see memes involving this version of the character committing rape against little boys, in particular Pit in his Kid Icarus: Uprising incarnation, while explaining his actions as result of the fact "I am greek nigga!!!" (TC Carson, Kratos' voice actor in this game, is Afro-American). This probably derivates from the observed practice in Ancient Greece of older males having romantic relationships with younger males (known as pederasty).
  • Signature Scene: The boss battle with Cronos, due both to the sheer scale of the Titan and how long it goes no matter what the player does.
  • Unfortunate Implications:
    • The trophy given for completing the escort mission with Poseidon's Princess (which ends in a rather nasty crushing death) is called "I didn't do it... But I wish I did!" Yeesh. This trophy was understandably removed from the remastered version on the PlayStation 4.
