Paradigm of Uncertainty provides YMMV tropes of:
- Author's Saving Throw: The appearance of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's titular character was too much even for this fic, and the incident is never referenced again.
- Base Breaker: There isn't a single thing about this fic, from the main ship on up, that doesn't seem guaranteed to split the Harry Potter fandom cleanly down the middle.
