• Complete Monster: The cultists, the mob...by the end, pretty much anyone who knows who Remina is.
• Fridge Horror: As if it wasn't terrifying enough, the man whose helmet was taken off almost appeared to have been absorbed into the planet's surface, transforming into another blob of eyes and tongues. What if he's still sentient?
  • Which also begs the question, are all the other eyes and mouths and tentacles on the planet made from absorbed people? And after Earth is eaten, did everyone living there become masses of tongues and eyes?
  • The creature itself. Think about these two factors for a minute; the title is called "HELLstar Remina" and it came from another dimension...the title may very well imply it came from hell...
  • Or it may very well be Hell itself.
• Narm: When Remina opens its eyes, it's a horrific reveal that feels just plain wrong. When it opens its mouth, it looks like, as one character so eloquently put it, "A fat kid eyeing a donut!"
  • The entire sequence where Remina and co. are sent flying literally around the world after the Hellstar licks the planet. It's so ridiculous you can't help but laugh.
  • "It ate the fuckin' moon!
  • Mineishi's expressions really come off as a lot more comedic to this troper. Reminds me of a demented Fred Jones.
• The Woobie: Remina. As if the malevolent Planet Eater bringing about the apocalypse wasn't enough, almost every survivor the poor girl meets wants to torture and kill her.
